Calling All You Skinny Mini's!!! Where to Shop? HELP!
I am not a 6 but a a very happy 12 . I shop at Steinmart.
They have coupons and sales. My favorite dress slacks
are New York & Co. and I found them at Steinmart.
I also found a few blouses at Marshalls and Ross.
My favorite tee shirts are from Walmart.
The White Stag knits are a heavier and feel
nicer than the ones at Kohls and Target(to me anyway).
It was difficult giving up my friend Catherine-
she was such a good friend that they called and left
me voice messages about their sales.

I remember the days. finding a grown up size 4 / 6 outfit... I hate pawing through the racks at Ross / Marshalls, but I do love Kohls. I just checked my closet for stuff that has held up to washing and line drying and
my favorites there are Croft and Barrow from Kohls and Merona from Target. for Jeans, Gloria Vanderbilt from Costco have held up very nicely.

I'm a size 4/6 petite too. And I'll tell you it's not as easy to shop as it used to be. Who knew that the limited selection before actually helped...LOL. I shop most of the department stores that were mentioned because they all have petite departments. If if want a GO TO store...you know, go to ONE store and know that I'll find something that I can wear to an event or meeting...I usually pick Macy's. I seem to have the best luck there finding something on sale in my size. I also like TJ Maxx, but it's sometime**** or miss. Kohl's and JCPenney also have a pretty good selection of petites. If you have a Jones New York store near you, they also have a good seleciton of business clothes.
I'm not a big fan of NY&Co. The prices are good and the styles are nice, but I never seem to find much that fits right, and I'm not crazy about the quatity. I think the fit might be related to being a petite/short size.
