That kinda says it all! I'm still pre-op but one thing I've learned around here the last 8 months is we can do amazing things if we just put our minds into it. Go back to the basics when you first began your journey.

Look at all that you lost, you can easily get that 25lbs off. Believe in yourself...we believe in YOU. Don't give up.....we aren't going to give up on you. Get back in the saddle 'cause

Welcome HOME Loni !!!!!   Now.....Your year sounds like mine !!!!  I have put weight on too.   NO FUN !!!!  But the farther post op we become we tend to forget what we SHOULD be doing.    As for me....I started last week going back to basics.   You can try the 5 day pouch test if you have cravings for carbs.   I am drinking 2 protein shakes a day....1 small meal and 2 heathy snacks.    I have lost 4 lbs since last thursday.    Now...that being said....I probably won't loose anymore for a while.   LOL   BUT Loni...we can do this !!!   Our tool still works if we work it the way we should.   Good luck to you....I am here for you if you need me.

Don't beat yourself up, it's really easy to gain it back. I'm starting to gain a little back myself. Ok....take a breathe and get rid of all the carbs in the house. If you like me it's like crack I can't leave it alone. If your family needs carbs they can go to the store. Go back to the basics. Don't drink 30min before or 30 min after. Log your food, protein first...........your know the drill. You can do it, we can all help each other!

Welcome BACK!!  You have taken the first step by just posting!  I'm not the most active member but I do check in daily and think that keeps me connected to my goals.  Knowing that others here are going through the same struggles helps me know I'm not alone.  So just know that you are not doing this alone either and we are here for you!!

Sweetie, I am so glad you posted. I have been missing you. Course I certainly could have reached out, and I didn't.  Please forgive me.

These ladies are right.  It's never ever ever too late to get back on track.  We can only wish that we could reset our pouches to that 3 month set point when we could only eat a minimun of food and would have maximum results.   But just come here often and ask whatever you want to ask and when you need a boost, please let us know.  That's what friends are for.

I am almost 2 1/2 years out and I have a harder time getting back down to my lowest weight every time.  Foods we used to not tolerate, we can.  And we want to feel more 'normal' and eat like our family and friends.  Occasionally it's okay, but boy is it easy to NOT pay attention.

We all understand.  And we love you and care.    And you CAN do this.

Back to the basics.
