Monday Monday WLS EXPRESS

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

Can you all please send some of that rain this way?  We need it so badly and as far as I know have not gotten any.  They did say we might get some this morning.  I sure hope so we need it.  Yesterday was a nice day.  Full but nice.  Starting with Church then lunch with Mark and then home to do laundry and a few things around here, then to top it all off Big Brother!!!  Got to love a day that ends in Big Brother!  :)   Today will be a quiet morning, and then Mark and I are meeting with someone at the base Hospital to go over medical records and make sure everything is ok, before we move in 11 weeks!  Mark said it is the final hurdle so that is good.  I know he has lots to do yet.  One week from today I will be having a scope to check out my ulcer again.  It has been acting up and driving me crazy.  Ok time to get a move on.  Prayers for those in need this morning.  Liz, any word on work yet?  Danni, how are things in GA?  I hope you guys are slowly setteling in.  Boys start school this week?  Prayers for Rebecca too.  Hope she can figure out what is going on, before she wastes away.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

meeting peeps - learning who is positive n good to be around n who is less so to not spend so much time with - reminding myself to parent MY kids with gental but firm love n as little screaming as possible regardless of what others do - making sure I don't lose ME

It's okay to scream every once in a while...look at it this way...if one of your kids marries a screamer, at least it won't freak them out when somebody hollers at them...they'll at least have heard it before...I do the same things and do regret it, but I guess it lets off some steam.  I always apologize to Ben for blowing up.  Hopefully it at least teaches him it's okay to admit you made a mistake and lost it!

i am  not agianst ocasionally screaming at kids but object to people who seem to ONLY scream at them - the neighbor kids always are amazed when my kids have an answer to a question they asked me and the whole neighborhood did not hear us yelling it-they come up and ask and we can queilty discuss it

I used to be a screamer and did not like myself or the way the kids and I related to each other and now when I scream they KNOW I mean it LOL

Danni I was raised with screaming and being beat w/ a big thick belt by my dad...I try to scream only if needed like you.  It does seem to be more effective that way.

My girls hated it when I got REAL quiet.......and when I got to almost a whisper they KNEW they were in neck-deep-doo-doo!!!

Good MORNING!!! it is time to be up and awake and moving!!

waiting on Tim to get home from a 24 hour shift that ends at 9 - the phone guy should be here between 8 and 9 to instiall phone jacks so we have a house phone and internet (we have been using the neighbors internet that is unsecure-be nice to have our own kwim)

got lots done yesterday - ALL the laundry - geez my kids have a lot of clothes - neighbor had given me a bunch for both little kids - went thought those - returned what won't fit K now-washed and hung what I liked for Rach and boxed up a ton to send to Jenni for her little one-they leave for europe in a week and are hunting non summer clothes for the 2yo so perfect timing -

got all the downstairs floors swept and mopped - made dinner - pizza - k walks to the table and drops half (the top half with stuff and suace of course) his pizza on the floor - oh well thankfully it is tile and they cleaned it up easyly LOL

lots of errands today to include regiataring the teen  - I HOPE - mailing package to Jen and bro- trying to get me registared for school and trying to get Rachels shot records - I lost them - opps - at least I know the number to her docs in plano so I can get them rebuilt then I will take them in here and have them put into her perminent records and make a copy while I am at it

hope eveyone has a great day - its monday look at it as a new start, a brand new chance to make great and good choices

remember WHY YOU had surgery - I had it to be HEALTHY and that means taking care of ME!! water vits protien movement all that good stuff  - do it right today

Good Morning, TMB!

It's Monday.....said in my most positive, optimistic voice....I'm trying to convince myself it's going to be a good week, can you tell!!

Had dinner with Kris and Chris and family last nite - had a blast!  The kids outnumbered the adults - what a hoot!!

Not much going on this week - hoping the part for my car gets in to the dealer so I can get it put on; gas mileage on my little car sucks without that O2 sensor.

Got my vits, protein and water started, lunch packed and gym bag in the car!  Make it a GREAT Monday!!
