Semi-OT - Obama Care - Nightmare- has already hit

Becky good post.

Another concern is how to pay for "obama care." We are so far in the hole as it is that the deficit is expected to reah 2 trillion. HOLY ****! Yeah, 2 trillion. And just think about how this obama care will even throw that further into the tank.

I am satisfied with my insurance. I see my doctor and pay a 20 copay, I get my meds and if I get generic its reasonable. That is my greatest fear that my insurance is going to be "hit" for the good of others. F+++ that. I have no desire to hamper my way of life for the good of people that have no desire to earn their way and feel they are "entitled" to certain things.

I would like to help you but you cant fix stupid.

  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.

Don't be surprised if you have to start paying a lot more regardless of what Congress does.

Once companies start shoving more medical costs down to the employees, they all start doing it.  And in fact they really have no choice at some point to stay profitable if their competitors are doing it.

This is going to be a loooong recession, folks.

*sigh*

Sarah....I am jumping in here to defend the Bell employees who were on strike for 6 weeks !!!!   They did that basicly because of insurance costs and coverages.    They did end the strike but in return....our great insurance went down the tubes.   We lost our HMO that paid 100% after our deductable.   Don't totally understand the "new" insurance yet or what it will cover.   I do know it is costing us more weekly and truely doubt that it will cover as much as the old policy !!!!  You are so true....I know the cost will go up and coverage down with our next contract in 4 yrs.    We just need to pray really hard for our president and our insurance.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE;   COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN;  AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!!    THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

John, I feel exactly the same way.  I get so peeved that I have to take my children to the daycare and go to work to pay for someone else to stay at home and do nothing.

C'mon now Becky, what's wrong with you?  Instead of complaining you should get busy thanking everyone you know who voted for our current President for the opportunity to experience this.  Change you can believe in... remember?
And when was the last time a politician told the truth and kept his campaign promises????

In case you can't tell from my posts I am completely apathetic and I did not even vote in the last election and I have voted in every one since I turned 18.  I believe both parties are 2 sides of the same coin and the "differences" are just distractions for the masses while they implement the policies of the corporations and banks - those whom they answer to - not us.

I expected the Obama administration to be more of the same, business as usual and I have not been proven wrong yet.

This health care plan will be another payoff to someone or some company who already has deep pockets and the middle class will pay for it, as usual.

I agree, both party's suck. GW sold us down the river and was a wolf in sheeps clothes.

The only true candidate that would have helped is Ron Paul and since he is in a "3rd party" there wasnt a chance he would win.

Hey - I sported a Ron Paul bumper sticker on both vehicles and I have never had a bumper sticker on my cars!  LOL

He is the only candidate I thought was worth a damn and when he dropped out, I decided not to vote because I didn't support what either party was doing.
