July Journey Sunday

How are you journeying at this point.  We're nearing the end of our July Journey, about to jump into our August Adventure.

I did pretty good yesterday.  I never really ate lunch.  I had a little trail mix in the middle of the afternoon instead of eating my chicken and asparagus at lunch.  Iwent to a shower and then to visit someone and never made it home for lunch.  However, I didn't eat or drink anything at the shower, which is great.  I stayed away from the cake, punch and other goodies.

Today's plan:
at least 2 protein drinks
lots of liquids
bbq chicken / asparagus for lunch
haven't decided for dinner

what's your plan?

It hasn't been a good week for me.  I know I've been making poor choices all week.  In fact I haven't even weighed in 4 days~that alone tells you I KNOW I've done bad.  Anyway, tomorrow starts another day and another week.  I'll hop in that scale in the morning and start off right with a protein shake.  Time to make a plan for the week ahead.

Yesterday's pretty much "all carb" food:
Breakfast: 110 cal bagel plus peanut butter
Lunch: 1/2 brisket sandwich, bag of chips, 3 pieces black licorice
Dinner: 1 slice pizza, one soft pretzel
Snack: 2 frozen Milky Ways, 4 oreos

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday could have been better.  Went to the movies and lost all control when it came to the popcorn.  Just couldn't get myself to stop munching on the stuff.  It's like a drug for me. 

I'm desperate to regain control so I've decided to start the 5 Day Pouch Test today.  Today is day 1 for me on liquids.

Today's Plan:
B'fast - Protein Shake
Water, Water, & Water
Lunch: Tomatoe Basil Soup
Water, Water, & Water
Snack: Protein Shake
Water, Water & Water
Dinner: Proein Shake
Water, Water & More Water.....

I'm scared and a little worried that I might not be able to stick with it.  I'm going to give it my best shot.

Is it August yet???  I'm ready to pack up July and move on!!!   Doing liquids for the next few days as it's stil hard to chew anything but things are and will continue to get better as each day passes!

My plan for the past 2 days

I am having a carb heavy meal today.  I am really not eating large portions it is just what I am eating.  I must regroup and get back on track tomorrow
