July Journey Saturday
Down to the last week of our July Journey...where is yours taking you...mine's maintaining me, even though I'd like to take some off, but only I can make the right choices to do and eat the right things!
Yesterday was okay for me...being out of town I didn't have total control, but made decent food decisions, other than the popcorn I ate at the movies. I don't go to the movies very often since we don't have a cinema here in Livingston.
Today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
leftover bbq grilled chicken for lunch w/ grilled asparagus
chicken piccata for dinner
protein balls
What's your plan?

I took another small detour last night. I need to start saying to myself nothing tastes as good as getting on the scales and seing pounds lost. My son will get here today and I know I am going to have to be careful of my meal preparations. I have no plan for today which is not good. I just hope to be able to maintain now through Sunday night and then resume low carbing for the final week of July on Monday.

I finally get to post on this thread.
Weight is finally coming off a bit from the few months that I kinda went wild. I am seeing numbers I used to see consistently and that feels good. Just got to remember protein protein and variety!
I was motivated to get back to lowest weight because of my doctors appointment in two weeks! Well, of course, it was canceled, mine and Emm's . Time for a new doctor but that's a who other topic.
Today I need to do some protein cooking and get ready for the week. I also must remember to get in all my water like I do during the week at work.

Can't believe July is almost over. It's been an interesting and stressful month for me.
I did okay yesterday. I tried really hard to stick to my meal plan, and did pretty well for the post part. Did have an unplanned snack at about 9:30pm, but focused on protein.
Today:
- 3 Mile walk at the park (done)
- Attended my first Over-eaters Anonymous Meeting (interesting)
- Protein Shake for B'fast
- Still trying to come up with a Lunch, Snack and Dinner Plan
Hope you guys have a great weekend.
