July Journey Thursday
How did yesterday's plans go...did you stay on the right path?
Yesterday I got off track when I had no access to my fridge and kitchen during lunch due to painting, then Ben left to eat at church swimming party for dinner, so plans changed. They weren't too far off though.
Today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
lunch: salad w/ ham or smoked turkey and cheese, low fat ranch dressing
dinner: grilled chicken and asparagus
snack: protein balls or cottage cheese

The carb monster got me last night. I cooked hamburger helper (double cheesy quesedilla) and it smelled sooo good so I ate some along with cornbread/whole kernel corn and since I had already been attacked, I decided later to eat some Blue Bell banana pudding ice cream. There I said it ...not that I feel any better. My normal cheat day has been on Saturday so I moved it up to Wednesday and I must remain focused at least for the next 5-6 days if I want to see more weight loss.
Todays plan:
B-Coffee
L-Salad
D-Salad with meat (IDK what kind)
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
Hey Karla!! I'm doing good on my plans so far. The only thing I'm not doing is as much exercise as I'd like. It's all about mental motivation and kicking my butt out of bed earlier instead of hitting the snooze button.
Today I've got bunches of good things packed for lunch and snacks, and then we're going over to the in-laws for dinner tonight. No worries there, MIL always cooks good healthy stuff, and since she's doing low carb it's nearly all WLS friendly. Bonus!!
Still managing to stay around 1800-1900 cals per day, no Sbux since Monday. I will stay away from Sbux for both the money savings and to avoid unnecessary liquid cals.

Yesterday I was a wreck. I was swamped with work, at the office so I ate 6-8 SF Fudge Graham cookies. Well, sugar free doesn't mean carb free. I dumped....while at work, not good. -- While I was feeling horrible, I went into the fridge at the office and "chucked" those cookies. I'm not sure who they belonged to, but they've been in the fridge forever. Don't think anybody will miss them, and if they do say something, I'll deal with it then.
I was so angry at myself for not being able to control myself. I COULD NOT just stop at 1.
Today's Plan:
Goal: STICK TO MEAL PLAN!
Lots of water (working on it)
Exercise (done)
Take my vitamins (done)
B'fast - Protein Shake (done)
Lunch & Snack: Turkey, Cheese, Egg Whites, Pork Skins, Grn. Fluffy Stuff & berries
6pm - WLS Support Group Meeting
Dinner: Grilled chicken salad, I think.
Thanks in advance for letting me vent.
Hugs,
Lisa D. Mtz.
