Let's Play the Admiration Game!!
Seems a lot of folks are feeling down and out lately with job situations, life in general and other unknown reasons. Let's try to have a morale booster today!
(It's my game, I get to make the rules!)
Rules:
1. Pick someone who posts on TMB - regularly, occassionally or used to but doesn't anymore but we know they are lurking.
2. Write a few sentences about what makes you admire them.
3. You cannot pick someone that has already been "admired"
It's a MUTUAL ADMIRATION SOCIETY party!!
My game, my rules, so I get to go first - (damn, I drive that train ONE time and I just take over the world!! LOL)
I pick GINA R. the DIVA herself!
I love me some Ms. Gina. Of all the people on this board she makes me smile EVERYday. I admire her ability to go and be with families who's loved one is in their last days / hours / minutes. It's obvious she's good at what she does with the number to personal requests she gets. It takes someone special to do that kind of work. She doesn't give up, in fact she gives it all she's got in anything I've seen her do. Half-marathon, she was there. Someone needs something, she's there. Her own kids even like her!!
Next - pick someone you admire and tell us why!
Though I don't know her well, I admire Phyllis. She's a little bundle of energy who works her tail end off, but almost always seems to be upbeat.
Check out Steph's Musings, her new blog, often on weight loss surgery and its results.

She never whines.. She is a good listener. She accepts you the way you are. She has more Kahonas than both my ex-husbands combined. She has a can do attitude. She doesn't compare herself to anyone. She tells it how it is. She is there for you as a friend and as a WLS peep.. She is truly inspirational on what all she has accomplished. Too bad I just now met her. But, I am thank ful that I have.
Smile, it increases your face value.

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

For all the trials and tribulations, she ALWAYS has a smile and a hug! She's a no-nonsense kinda gal that will tell you like it is and I love her for that!!!
She is generous and a fabulous cook! Que would give you the shirt off of her back if you asked. I love you, Momma Que!!!
