Deedles,
Everyone's journey and success is different. It took me a long time to quit comparing myself to others - and sometimes i still have to remind mysel of that. It was hugely frustrating to see some lose 150 pounds in six months, and me struggle for every pound. But it seems men lose faster than we women do. Some women have lost more than me in a year, others not so much.
I know now that i have other factors that have hindered my weight loss, including Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
But the bottom line is that every pound i've lost has been an achievement - and i have never ever done anything else, no diet, no exercise program alone, in which i've lost more than 100 pounds.
So, i'll take it, even if it comes off slowly.
My best advice is to just do exactly what your doctor and your nutritionist tell you. Get out there and take advantage of every pound that comes off to get physical, and active, and boost that weight loss.
The great thing for me is being ABLE to be physical and active. What a marvelous change ! I will never again be that couch potato i once was!
Best of luck to you, and if you ever want ot talk one on one, hit me up here and i'll give you my Yahoo E-mail.

I know you have struggled with slow weight loss and it CAN be frustrating when you see the pounds melting off of others who seem to be working less hard than you are LOL.
But you aren't "done yet" just because it has been a year. Keep focusing on the pouch rules and exercising and have a short memory for the days you graze too much and you will keep losing - which is what you are doing :)
I haven't tracked my food in a while, so yesterday I entered it all into Daily Plate and I am still amazed at how few calories I am eating and not really losing much - just maintaining. Although sometimes the scale will surprise me and drop a few pounds even though I am not doing anything different. It just drives home to me just how slow my metabolism really is and why all my diet attempts failed. I would be starving all the time and caved in long ago w/o my pouch.
Years ago an older friend of mine joined WW after my early success (I was 28 at the time) and she GAINED weight after eating everything she was allowed. I just didn't believe it at the time and figured she must have been "cheating". Now I know she probably wasn't so I am glad I kept my thoughts to myself! I would probably gain weight right now if I ate all the points WW allows.
So, anyway, sweetie - you are doing great - keep up the good work and CONGRATULATIONS on a fabulous year !!!
