Where do you go for your online vitamin purchases

I just got back my bloodwork.  I am 2 years out and my iron is low.  Not sure what the number is the nurse just said I really need to start taking my iron consistantly.  I explained about the constipation problems with iron.  She suggested I try Ferretts IPS liquid iron.  I have found it on a few sites but wanted to use a site that someone else has used and trusted.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bariatric Advantage is a excellent website to purchase your vitamins at.   They are formulated for us bariatric patients so I am sure that their Iron would be the most absorbable for us.    I would try them.   I have tried their chewable Iron and it is really good Teena.   Wish you lived closer to me and I would let you try some.    As a OH Support Group leader we get samples from some of the companies....I have samples of vitamins that I will share with my support group in Sept.    Good luck with your Iron and hope it goes up.   I don't take Iron....Surgeon said I don't need to.....gone totally through menopause.   I am sure you know what I mean by that.   Good luck !!

BA carries the Ferrett IPS.  It came up when I googled it.LOL  I just had never ordered from them and wanted to get some reassurance that it was a good mail order place.  I guess I just worry about paying for it and it never coming.LOL  This iron is like $20+ for an 8 oz bottle but that is better than having an iron problem.

Teena....I take their Calcium Citrate and I am on a automatic reorder plan...every 3 months they automatically send me a bottle and charge my credit card.   I save the shipping on it by doing it this way.   I love BA....and think they are great.   They have great products and their customer service is fantastic !!!!    Don't be scared to order from them...I know if you don't get the order...they will replace it also.

Ok good to know.  I use a powdered calcium that I just mix in my water.  It's much easier on the tummy that way.  I have some of the BA calcuim and I just have a hard time with them.  I think it's the texture but I use them when I have nothing else.

I use the BA Iron.  I like the taste and my iron levels are fine now.

I order a lot of stuff from Puritan.com.  Don't know if they carry your iron or not.  I'm going to see Barker next Wed for my 2 year check-up.  They promised me I wouldn't have to wait.  They better be telling the truth, lol...it's a group session.

I am too!!!!  I'm going to the 3 pm appt.  What about you???  Dr. B's office called me today about my bloodwork.  I just had it done on Friday.  When I told her I had a hard time with iron she said it was real normal that I should try the liquid that it seemed to really be helping patients.

Bummer, I'm scheduled for the 10 am group session.  Of course did anyone tell me to get labs done?  Nope.  Oh well, my PCP did them in Feb and they were fine.

I may see if I can change to the morning session if you are going to be there.  I asked if I needed labs done.  They sent me the slip and I just went to labcorp and had them done.  I guess it's a good thing I did.  I had them done in December and everything was good and now the iron is low.  It's not a suprise though.  If you don't take it then it can remain normal.LOL
