Only 136 calories left today and I'm starving!

OK...I started off with a Lean Desserts shake for breakfast. Mid morning snack was 10 almonds. DH comes in with a WW chicken quesadilla dinner...it smelled heavenly! So I ate half, after all it's WW, how bad could it be?!?! Then DH wanted a BBQ sandwich. I got 3oz of brisket and made a sandwich with LF wheat bread and a few blue corn chips. That's not that bad and it IS alot of protein. Late this afternoon I had 6oz of Fage 0% mixed with lemonaide drink mix for a real puckery lemon treat. When I added all this up in My Fitness Pal I only have 136 calories, 1 carb, 4 fats, 25 proteins and 5 fibers left for the whole day....and it's only 6pm! It's not even about the numbers, I frequently vary my total counts for the day, but Man...they sure added up quick!

Good thing *this* isn't a diet, but a lifestyle change and tomorrow is another chance to make better choices...and pay attention!

Even though the food is WW and "lean" it still can be carb-loaded.  The tortilla, the corn chips...that stuff adds up FAST, plus there's the sodium factor in some of it.

Dee if there is a Kroger in Houston.....go and get yourself some CarbMaster Yogurt...it is Kroger brand.   It is really good.....80 calories and 12 grams....yes I did say 12 grams protein.    I freeze it....zap it in microwave for a few seconds and eat it like ice cream.   Really good and a good "low calorie" way to get in some much needed protein.    You are doing so good !!!   We are ALL so proud of you.    What a success you will be when you have your surgery !!!!

Thanks, Viv! I do eat Carb Master yogurt, it's really good, but I've never thought to freeze it. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for the idea, Vivian!

I think I will get some for work and keep in the freezer so it won't go bad before I get around to eating it.  Plus, if I have to do a lot of outside work, frozen yogurt is a yummy treat when I come back inside to my air conditioned office !!!!
