anybody from amarillo and area

would anybody be interested in starting a support group here in amarillo?  i would be glad to get it going and make sure everything is organized, just need people who are interested in meeting on an informal basis, say over coffee or tea,  get to know each other. maybe do stuff together. not a formal support group.  pm me and i will give u my phone number if u are interested. vick

Vickie.....are you going to do the OH Support Group Leaders training???   You know you could do that.   LOL   Also I think that there is a couple of people from the Amarillo area on here...but you might want to go post this on some of the other boards too.      Lots of Texans don't get on this board for some reason or other.     Just a suggestion !!!!   You are looking SO good !!!!

hey vivian, no i am not going to do the oh support group. it will be more of an informal circle of friends who have a big something in common.  i have posted on a lot of the boards and no luck so far. i might have to go to dr. royce's support group here of thursday.  my support group is really bad.  we look at a dvd of another support group in wichita falls and what goes on there and then talk a llittle, a lot not even about wls.  i really am more concerned about plastics right now. i am only 13 from 155 and my hernia repair/panni is coming up real soon. i imagine end of august. he wants me down to 160 but i really would like 140 to 145.  hey!!!!! i bought size 12 yesterrday. yea!!!!!!!!  i would like to get to a 10 but i could be satisfied with a 12.  i went to a specialty shop to buy a bra. i couldn't get one to fit. they put me in a 38dd and i was trying to find a padded 42b. it is kind of tight around the band, but they say it should be this way to give you support. i do fill it in good, without padding even. take my bra off and it is a joke though. yuck!  i sure with i could afford a lift. i don't even want augmentation, just a lift. well did your husband cross the line?  my dad is a long time union man and people got shot when they did that during his day. tell your husband to be careful, he also would get a reputation as a scab. at least that is what union members calls thoses who cross the picket line. lot's to think about. well, have a great day. take care.  your new picture looks great. vick

Vickie i would love to get a support group together too. Many of Dr Roye's patients and I attend his meetings month and have invited you several times. His support meetings are very informative and we have had a plastic surgeon come and talk. Love to see you there. After the first meeting I had went to for Warnock here I decided I needed a different type of supprt cause I wasnt getting anything out of the meeting at the library
