July Journey Saturday
As we journey on in July...start thinking of a name for August.
August Accountability...Awesome August, throw some out there for us to consider!
Yesterday was fine until...I HAD to eat some cookie dough that I had...dumped...climbed in bed...why do I do those things?
Today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
buffalo chicken for lunch
chicken marsala for dinner...we had pork steak last night...changed plans
SF ice cream from Danni's recipe
What's your plan?
Hang in there...do we want to do 5dtp or plateau buster starting Monday? If so, we'll have to plan. I know I need to get off my rear and EXERCISE!

I'm still here workin it. I have had a tough week but it was worth it. After I got back from Dallas, my Tuesday weigh in showed my highest in over a year at 162.6!!! Almost crawled back into bed. But I stuck it out this morning showed 158.4. Still 6 pounds above my lowest so I will keep working it.
I have a doctor's appointment on the 7th. she has had the surgery and really holds me accountable, so I have to get to the same weight I was in January when i was there. I think it can happen and luckily no major sidetracks planned for the next two weeks.
August accountability sounds great to me. Cuz I need to keep myself that way for sure.

Karla, I'm not doing the 5DPT this week as I'll be out of town several days which makes it to hard to do; however, I have plans starting next Monday to decarb, not sure if it'll be full-fledged 5DPT or just several days of shakes only then back to what worked when I lost so fast......lean meats and green leafy veggies. I don't expect to lose the regain that quick, but I do believe it'll be the right thing to do to regain control and see positive results.

I'll be passing on the 5dtp this time as I'm having surgery on Wednesday.
Not sure about my plans for today.... protein shake for breakfast and I know we are going somewhere to eat tonight.

Well today, I had leftover chicken and veggies from going out to dinner last night at about 10:30 a.m. so I will call that brunch. I am now getting ready to go over to my beau's house and he is cooking and we are having drinks. I was supposed to have lots of water to counteract the drinks but I have not. I promise to be back on track by tomorrow morning bright and early.

Today's plan:
- 3 mile walk at the park (done)
- lots of water ( working on it)
- vitamins (almost all done)
- B'fast: Protein Shake
- Lunch & Snack: Grilled chicken breast and steamed broccoli
- Fun: go watch a movie w/ hubby (mus****ch the popcorn intake)
- Dinner: ??????

Oh ya....had a "wow moment" -- fit into a size 6 today (WOW!!!)

Love August Accountability! I have started lurking and need to get back in the swing! Eating sucks (way too much grazng instead of eating), pouch grouchy and hernia hurting.
I have been ravenous since I started th enew tummy medicine Kapiex! Anyone know if it increases appetite?? Guess I could Bing it!!
Every day is a new day and adventure so I just need to get back to it!!!!

I'm here too, late but here. I'm still trying to get off those pounds I gained. I'm down 2 but would like to lose 2-3 more. Unfortunately I have no willpower against carbs. I really need to start planning better. It's all a matter of choices, not hunger or portion control.
Breakfast: protein drink
Lunch: 1/2 sub sandwich and 10 chips
Dinner: hamburger patty and salad.
Snack: fresh fruit with fruit dip.
Need to work on a plan for tomorrow. Vitamins done for today too. I went 4 days without taking them and that's NOT acceptable.

RNY revision from lapband 7/30/07...TT/BL 10/9/08 and at GOAL
I need to really rethink my eating and plan, do a complete overhaul and refocus. It sure gets tougher the further out I get to make good choices, and to be accountable to myself.
Steph, I'm not hungry either, I just keep grazing just because. I cannot pinpoint why, I don't believe I'm stressed out. I feel ok, I have lots to do but just don't want to do it.
