Was wondering if there are any members out in the north side of town, Spring, Woodlands area that would like to get together for a casual dinner.  Really anyone is invited regardless of where you live, I am just trying to arrange something close to that side of town.

Would like to plan for Saturday July 25th.  I have a couple ideas that are centrally located in between all those areas.  Anyone that is interested please send me your suggestions and maybe we can get something put together for that date.  I would like to meet other people that are on the OH board.

Looking forward to hearing from some of you.

I am in the Humble/Kingwood area...but would love to do this with everyone.

Let me know what time and where and I will be there.

As for suggestions.....there are tons of great places to get together at in The Woodlands & Spring area.  Whatever you decide is fine by me.

I'm always up for stuff like this.  Just let me know when and where and I'll figure out if I can make it or not!

I am not the greatest person at organizing events so anyone that has any great suggestions please respond.

I was thinking of Cheddars (there is a new one at 45/Louetta in Spring).  They have a lot of healthy food options.  Also thought about Lupe Tortillas (45/Richey Rd. exit) if anyone wanted to try Mexican.  Both of these places look like them can accommodate groups.

Looking at Saturday July 25th @ 6pm.

If anyone has some better ideas please PM me.  I just want to get out and meet some people that have gone through the same experience I have.

Donna (bumblebug) and I both live in Spring.... we might be interested.  However, I'm having surgery on Wed. and not sure how I will be feeling on Sat.  and I might look a little scary from the sugery!!!   Cheddars would be a great spot!

Cheddars sounds great to me too! I have never been there.

Organizing is really simple.....just make a post with the details like day, time, place of the dinner and ask for people to give you a count of how many to add to the list for the reservation. Give a deadline for peeps to let you know by, say like Wednesday the 22nd. Then call the restaurant on Thursday the 23rd and let them know how many will be in your party and to make a reservation. Then everyone shows up and has a good time!

Oh....and don't forget to call Cheddars ahead of time to make sure they accept reservations for parties over 8 people on the weekend, in case you have more than 8 people who want to attend. Some places will not accomodate parties over 8 during their busy times, like Friday & Saturday evenings.
