Restart
Okay, I've been very distant because I've been lost.
I haven't lost weight since I was 10 months post op and now I'm nearing my 1 1/2 year mark.
So I am determined to see the scale move (down not up) and starting Monday I need something ridiculously strict and regimented.
Does anyone have any advice?
I know there is the 5 day pouch test (but my pouch still works-still small-I'm not over eating-just eating 1/2 good and 3/4 bad-ha ha ha)
I know there's the plateau buster. Not sure what the recipe was on that...
But any help would be greatly appreciated, especially before Monday so I can hit up the grocery store.
Thanks in advance.
Hugs,
Jessica

I think that is how I deviated so long ago...
I was tired of the same breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I was get a taste of this and a taste of that...next thing you know, my favorite foods are cheetos and mac n cheese. Ughhh. I've got to get away from the carbs. Regardless of brown rice and wheat noodles. I keep tryking to tell myself they are okay. But then I start saying something else is okay...next thing you know I'm eating all the wrong things.
My biggest problem is finding a list of what is good and what is bad and making myself stick to it.
Thanks for the encouragement.

Don't beat yourself up. I am a carbaholic myself. It will all work out. Does your surgeon have a nutritionist that works for him? Maybe an appt with them would help you out some. I'm like you. I am tired of eating the same things over and over and I find myself trying things I probably shouldn't. But remember youcan do this. Look how far you have come. We are here to help you in any way we can.
Jess look at how far you have come and be proud of yourself
