Why would you want to stay in Murphy. I don't think there are any places to stay. I may be wrong. You need to google the city and see. Its a beautiful small city with lots of pretty homes and a few places to eat. There are several nice place on I-90-George Bush Frwy and its not very far away from Murphy. Also Google the DFW area to find out whats going on while your in the area.

I live the next city up from Murphy (Wylie) I didn't realize they put a hotel in there and havent see one either. There is a Best Western in Wylie off of HWY 78. Have fun on your vacation.
