Good morning all,

Matt's AC should finally be fixed today.  I just wi**** wasn't taking our plane ticket fund.  I'm pretty sure I've picked the wedding colors now.  Looks like it will be pinks and ivory.  Not sure if I'll have any other accent color or not but pinks for sure.  I'm going to borrow the flowers from Debbi's SIL wedding.

Had a very nice visit with some from the NTX group last night.  Got to play with baby Ian too.  He's gotten pretty wiggly.

Saying prayers for everyone.  Have a great day.

ANNETTE-pinks and ivory aound perfect..Will it be "blush" and "bashful" and "pepto bismol" pinks, like they talked about in the "Steel Magnolias" wedding? Were you there when we laughing about that in the pool Saturday? Will your daddy have to shoot any birds away from the reception?

Sorry about the $$ for the air..but...at least y'all HAD the $$, even though it was being saved for something else.

Keep playing with those babies--get those hormones revved up!!!

I'm soooooooo excited for you-TRULY!!

Good Morning Alissa and My TMB Family,

Sounds like you are having lots of fun with your family Alissa.  How long are they here for?  I am guessing your neice did alright on the plane after her surgery.  I had a fun day yesterday.  I took my friends little boy (2yrs old) for the day yesterday.  He is probably the most well behaved 2 yr old I have ever seen.  Nap time he went right in and laid on my bed and then slept for 2 1/2 hours.  Then last night was another night of VBS and we had one of our Kindergardeners come to Christ.  It was such an awsum thing.  Left me with tears in my eyes.  Tonight is last night of VBS.  As much as I have enjoyed it, will be glad when it is over.  The director came up and asked me if I would fly back for it next year!  NOT!!!!!  Going to do my grocery shopping today and to stop at the BX for some photo paper.  So busy day ahead.  We have no plans for the weekend except to go over to the other house and water plants and check on the pool.  Then church on Sunday.  I actually have Nurcery duty.  Good thing I have Eric to help me out.  Danni, sounds like you are getting setteled little by little.  Whats the weather been like?  Does the base have a pool?  How come Tim is doing PT with his knee the way it is?  I would have thought they would give him time off.  Thats great that Rach is sleeping in her own bed.  Are the boys getting out and meeting people in the neighborhood?  Sorry about all the questions.  You guys are in my prayers every day.  Prayers for all those that are in need this morning.  Laura I sure hope they get things figured out at the PO for you.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

Good morning.

Happy surgiversary to Sarah, Mari, and Anne!

I finished painting my kitchen yesterday.  Today I have to clean up from the painting (try to get the paint off of knobs, drops on floor, etc. up) and make the new curtain for my kitchen window.  At least it's not painting!

I still have my hall to my bedrooms to paint.  I need to put in 2 more new doors in that hall too.  That will be Ben's job.  That will be the end of this years home improvements.  Next year I'll try to tackle completely gutting my bathroom and tiling the whole thing.  That's my plan for now, anyway!

Prayers to all who need them.

Danni...you go girl on getting your house put together!

Have a great Thursday.

Karla

Good morning Train Riders!!  Had a great evening yesterday.  Picked up Jeff's car from the shop, luckily the fix was quick, easy and free!  Woohooo!  The next thing to happen is to get an oil change in my car.  I have to admit I'm kind of afraid to do that.  Seems like every time I take it in it ends up needing major repairs.  I'll probably tackle that this weekend and cross my fingers and toes that it doesn't need anything else.  Coffee with the McKinney crew last night was great.  Annette, Rachel and Ian, and Avis came.  Ian snorts when he laughs and it's absolutely adorable.

Today will be a normal busy day at work (it's so nice to say that now).  Continuing to work on my big project and keep up with the normal day to day stuff that comes up.  Jeff got word yesterday that unless his company picks up another client before next Thurs they won't be able to keep him on.  Oh well, I'm very proud of him for asking as talking to "authority" figures is extremely hard for him.  Nothing lost, but a good experience gained.

Tonight I'm supposed to meet up with Jenny R for dinner, not sure where yet.  I'll have to figure out what I'm in the mood for later.  I'm definitely ready for the weekend!  This week has been very tiring, but I'm on the road to getting back to normal and for that I'm very thankful.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Good morning train riders...I'm up, waiting on the general contractor to show up.  He's coming to assess the damage from our little flood.  Just looks like the ceiling of the utility room needs painting, the hall laminate flooring is buckled and the bathroom sub floor looks rotted out near the toilet.  We'll have to see what he says.  I hope it covers all of it.

Today's my last day of vacation.  It's been really nice not having to do anything all week.  Unfortunately I have to work Fri, Sat and Sun.  The dogs have gotten used to me being home everyday.  Oh, my cat obviously loves me too...she keeps bringing me presents through the doggie door...Mon: dead gecko, Tues: locust  Wed: 1/2 dead, bleeding gecko Thur: locust.  Can hardly wait for tomorrow.  Hope she never learns to catch birds or mice!!

Better finish reading, haven't even been to FB yet.

Hey Steph - Let me know when you want to meet up to get the microwave.  It'll need to be when Jeff is around so he can carry it.  Next week we could meet Tues or Fri evening for sure.  Or if you're coming to the Allen meeting on Monday I could bring it along then, just saying...

Good morning fellow Texans!

It looks like it's going to be a crazy day - what with haircuts at Chick-fil-A and building 6-year-old girls.  I had no idea this was such a creative group.

Our big event for the day is a cardiologist appointment for DH.  The doctor's office called this morning and to tell him that the results from his last 3-day monitoring were normal so he doesn't need to come in.  He kept the appointment anyway so we can talk to the doctor about the possibility of starting to ween him off of some of the meds he takes.  We're also hoping to get her advice on options for addressing his continuing problems.  We're just at a loss.  Nothing shows up in any of the testing, but something is not right.  We need some direction.  There has to be someone somewhere who can help him.  Please keep him in your prayers.

After that we're going to try to go see the new Harry Potter movie and then tonight we're going out for pizza and beer with our next door neighbors.

I'm really looking forward to the weekend.  We'll be in SA babysitting for Ezra while DD and SIL go camping.  It will be the first time they leave the baby for more than a few hours.  They're leaving tomorrow and returning on Monday afternoon.  I can't wait to spend an entire weekend spoiling that grand baby.

Go out and make it a great day!  Drink your water ... dehydration can happen to you!
