July Journey Thursday

Wow...hard to believe our July Journey is halfway  over?  Where has your journey led you?  up or down or to the destination you wanted?

Yesterday I stuck to my plan until last night, when I rewarded myself for finishing painting my kitchen w/ 1/2 of a mini bag of popcorn and a few pecans.  I just left my fruit mix off.  Fruit would lhave been a better choice.

Today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks, finishing one now
chicken salad w/ crackers for lunch
roasted chicken, salad, potatoes for dinner
dessert

I am thrilled that I am still focused on this journey.  The scales are steadily moving in the right direction.  I am allowing myself only one cheat meal for one day only out of the week. I will not over indulge, but I will have whatever I want.  I have already made plans for Saturday to have several Spirits Revenge daiquiris from Frozen Spirits.   

My plan for today:
B-Bacon, coffee
L-McDonald’s salad (IDK which one yet)
D-IDK

Faith...your plan sounds like a great one.  You're doing so well after your surgery.  I know you hate wearing a compression garment.  I always did, but suffered through.  It will be worth it in the long run.  Keep up the positive attitude.

Here's yesterday's meals.  Scale has been all over the place but not landing where I want it to. 

Breakfast: none
Lunch: 1/2 turkey sandwich on wheat with 10 potato chips
Snack: Strawberries with SF cool whip and SF fruit dip
Dinner: 3 oz Sirloin steak, corn on the cob
Snack: 1/2 cup NSA Ice cream

Well this month has been hard...1) the closer to goal the harder it is to lose those few extra pounds 2) medication change caused a 7lb water retention (which is gone now!) 3) I'm on vacation!    We are heading home either Sunday or Monday.... then I have surgery on Wednesday so I'm feeling like this month is pretty much shot!!!!  But I'm still plugging away....

No idea what my food plans are today other then a protein shake this morning.

Well....July is half way over and over all I think my WL journey is going well.  This month I've notice a real struggle with evening snacking.   I've been tracking my food intake and activity.  I've been doing well on the exercise and defiantly improved on my water consumption.

Today:
B'fast, Lunch & Snack: Egg White, Turkey, cheese and 1/2c re-fried beans
Dinner: Steamed Fish and more cheese  ( you can tell I didn't plan very well)
