The NIGH****CHMAN - Tuesday - 7/14
Nephew coming in from New York on Thursday. We will get to see him for a few hours only. He is on his way to Colorado with my son for Oleta's brother's wedding.
Oleta got her hair cut yesterday. I have known her twelve years and this is the first time I have seen her with hair that did not go past her shoulders. It looks cute though.
Mary is with the grandkids again while Oleta is working.
Not much else in my world.

Pray for those employed by Bell Helicopter, that are on strike. Pray for a resolution to the strike. Pray for the families.
Anne (Lalocaweta) - as she continues her fight. Also for her spouse as the company he works for is closing it's doors.
Dana - requests prayer for her sister, Renee. She had tumor on her jaw removed. Now needs jaw reconstruction on 7/23 - (10 hour surgery scheduled).
George - prayers for Oleta J., Brad's MIL. She is in JPS with pneumonia and COPD among other health issues. Update: She was being tested for lung cancer on 7/1. Also pray for Brad's wife, also Oleta. Give her strength at this time.
Janet (1divaatheart) - her husband's kidney will be removed on 7/16, followed by lots of followup.
Just_Me has requested prayer for Gina A who lost her step mother suddenly. In addition, her grandmother is in a nursing home and not doing well.
Karen (Misty750342002) - A friend of Karen's from work (who is like a son to her), Dustin Murphy, is 24 years old and has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease.
Meggie - friend Nancy is in assisted living home and is on her last days. Pray for Meggie's family also as they try to fight through this.
Robin S. requests prayer for her son Tyler who is on his liquid diet, with WLS scheduled for 8/4.
Sandi B. requests prayer for Marvin who was at urgent care for 12 hours, then ER for 9 more. Kidney failure
Vicki V. - husband Patrick has Ataxia and Neuropathy of the left side. Which basically means he has virtually no feeling in his left leg and foot. Experiencing fatigue.
Below are two of God's children that definitely need our prayers. These are two specific cases, we know there are others out there. Remember them too.
Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2. She has improved, but still needs our prayers. Pray for this brave little girl.

I thought I would update you on Patrick. He's having additional testing on his thyroid tomorrow and is scheduled for a follow up with his Cardiologist on Thursday. We're hoping that she will start weening him from some of the many medications he's been on for almost a year. Our thinking is that maybe the massive amounts of meds he's taking are contributing to his fatigue problems. Thanks to everyone for keeping him in your prayers.

Not much good to report. I'm not feeling good about my interview today. I won't go into a lot of detail here, but I don't expect to be called back. I'm trying to get over the disappointment and prepare for tomorrow's interviews.
Otherwise, the drive up from San Antonio wasn't bad. And, I did the rush hour commute up the tollway to where we want to live. Very manageable, so that's something positive as a lot of the companies I'm looking at are on the tollway.
I've got an early day tomorrow, so I'm going to log out for the night. Prayers for all who need them.

Hey George...
Just a quick hi. Not feeling the hottest right now. Tried drinking some milk for a boost of protein and I should have known better. Now just feel like crap. Soooo nauseated! Blech!!! Probably will need to lay down here shortly as this feeling is not getting any better.
Have fun for all those going to see Harry Potter! My two older girls are going Saturday morning with my sister. I'm not letting Sarah see it right now. Probably a bit too much for the 7 year old.
Ok, gotta go lay down. Don't like this spinny room feeling. YUCK!
