Wednesday WLS Express!!
Good Morning OH Family!
Going to have to post quick. I know I'm honeymooning with the new job, but soooo impressed with their benefits and the extra things they do for their employees. Well better get on the road have to be there a little earlier. We are actually going to a cultural center this morning. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. BTW does anyone know how to get the smell out of the microwave from burning popcorn? I burned some last night and it still stinks.
Your loved!

What You Will Need:
- 100% Pure acetone (nail polish remover)
- Coffee
- Vinegar
- Coffee mug or small bowl
- Dish detergent
- Bowl or small bucket
- Water
- Soft cloths or paper towels
- Rubber Gloves (optional)
Removing the Stains
- Begin by mixing a few drops of dish detergent with ho****er in a bowl or bucket.
- Dip the cloth in the water and wring it out thoroughly.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the microwave down. This will remove any surface dirt and grime.
- Using a clean cloth or paper towels, apply acetone to the walls and scrub away the yellowish stains left behind from the burning popcorn.
- Wipe away any residue from the walls with the soapy water and rinse.
- You may need to repeat a couple of times depending on the severity of the discoloration.
- This method should remove most, if not all, of the discoloration of the inside walls.
Removing the Odor
- If the lingering odor is still a problem, there are two methods you can try: coffee and vinegar. We’ll start with the coffee method.
- Coffee is known to absorb odors, so fill the coffee mug or small bowl with about 2 tablespoons of ground coffee and ½ cup of water.
- Set the cup in a small bowl (to catch any overflow as it boils) and place it in the microwave.
- Microwave the coffee on high for about 2 minutes. Be careful when you go to remove it as it will be HOT.
- Repeat as necessary.
- Another odor remover is vinegar. Fill the small bowl about half full of vinegar and place it in the microwave.
- Turn the microwave on and let it heat until it steams.
- Once it has developed a good amount of steam, turn off the microwave and let it set for about 10 minutes.
- Wipe out the microwave with water and a soft cloth.
- There may be a vinegar smell in the microwave, but this will dissipate within a day or two.
Additional Tips and Ideas
- Sometimes the odor gets into the vents of the microwave. If neither of the above remedies work, it may just take some time to air it out.
- Let your microwave air out as long as possible. If you can take it outside that will help.
- If the odor lingers in your kitchen, try some of the remedies in our article about Removing Smoke Smells.

Well, at lease we have the forcast for some possible rain this weekend. At least we have that to look forward to. I went to the library last night for a mini geneology class. I worked on mine probably 25 yrs. ago when there were no computers and now it looks so much more interesting and easier! Maybe after I get all three girls in school that's something I can pick up again.
Nothing special going on today but entertaining girls! Hope everyone has a good one.
Blessings,

Good morning everyone,
Not feeling very woohooish today. Matt's A/C still isn't fixed. It will be done tomorrow but the home warrenty refuses to cover it. It's a very old unit and hasn't been well maintained over the years. Matt's only been in the house 3 years and the house was built in '69. He admits he hasn't really maintained it in his time either and the warrenty place says they won't cover the repair. So, since Matt has to pay for the repair, that's the money he was going to use for airline tickets in August to fly us to Massacheusetts to meet his family before the wedding. He is really bummed and I'm pretty disappointed too. But that's the way things go sometimes.
Anyway, saying prayers for all of you. Have a great day everyone.
Good morning! It's been a good day so far. Today I need to run by the water dept and pay the deposit to have the bill changed to my name. It doesn't matter that I have been the one paying the bill for the last 13 yrs, it's not in MY name so I have to put down a deposit. I'm floored by their procedure....but I don't have any options.
I went by Target and Hobby Lobby yesterday and bought stuff for Kaylee's new bedroom. The walls are pink and the borders are all done. It is VERY cute. We moved the furniture in last night. I need to buy a curtain rod today to finish things up. I'll try to post pictures soon.
Saturday is a Rodeo play day for the girls. If it starts late then I may try to make R&S. I will have to play it by ear. Either way- it's going to be hot hot hot out in that arena.
Hope everyone has a blessed day!
Love you guys!
Tracey

I got to talk to my new manager again yesterday. She's based in Boston and with HP/EDS restricting travel there's no telling if/when I'll actually meet her. She's funny to talk with because she's right to the point and doesn't hold back on what she's thinking. Luckily she's very impressed with what I've been doing and is constantly telling me how happy the whole team is that I'm working with them. It's so nice to get positive feedback like that after a year of little work and much frustration.
Planning on getting together with some North Texas peeps in McKinney tonight. One of our long time members that doesn't get to make it to the meetings often emailed and asked for a get together. So, we're off to Starbucks. LOL, I wonder if as a group (all of us on TMB) could get some kind of discount of kickback for all the Starbucks meetings we have... Just a thought...
Jeff still hasn't heard back from his boss if they can keep him on at a reduced salary or hours. He asked him on Monday and I'm hoping and praying that no news is good news and they are trying to figure out how to make that work. Just saw the news that TWC is running out of funds next week and will have to get loans to cover unemployment claims and that could take a few months. So we're going to plan our budget without the unemployment and perhaps both pick up some part time jobs to help out. Not fun, but we do what we need to, and I know God will provide and everything will work out the way it's supposed to.
Ok, I suppose I should actually get to work now. I hope everyone has a fantastic day!
