I KNOW I"M PREACHING TO THE CHOIR HERE .................but DANG! It's HOT!  I live in Arlington.  I had hopes that as I lost weight I would handle the heat better?????  Even in the pool it's brutal.  ( I don't have a pool but have been able to go to one occasionally.)

I am very thankful for A/C - although the electric bill should be something to behold.......EGADS.

Keep cool - as possible

Personally, I'm loving it.  This is the first time in FOREVER that I haven't been cold.  Of course 95 would be just about perfect, 103 is a little much, lol.

I know what you mean.  I had my surgery in August and it was too hot to go outside and walk.  I still to this day walk in my house when I can't get outside.  It's not as much but anything is better than nothing.  I have worn the carpet down.LOL

OMG!  I'm so with you.  It wasn't nearly this hot last summer.  I actually enjoyed the hot weather for the first time in years.  It was 112 in my back yard this afternoon.  The local weather guy keeps saying that the high is around 95.  I think I may call him and ask if he ever actually goes outside.  LOL.  I don't even want to think about the electric bill.

The heat this summer has bothered me more than it did last summer.  My problem is that I don't sweat like I use to and I think that makes me feel even worse.

It is horrid at my house.....And of course, we don't have Central Air - we have window units. (I still ask why we bought an old farm house - it seemed to be a good idea then....of course it was also March.)
The lake at the bottom of our house is totally dry (but has some really pretty green grass growing in it.) Too hot to consider driving 25 miles to a store to sit in their A/C.
Just took my 2nd shower of the day.....I have thought about putting my lawn chair on top of the sprinkler and sitting outside....(Our well water is about 68 degrees....)
