GOOD MORNING! ALL ABOARD!!!

Its finally here- the day everyone arrives from PA! I'm so excited. Work is going to go by so slowly today! They get in around 2, I'll get home around 4 and they'll all be at my house because we're going to Chef Point Cafe for supper tonight. Hope its not too crowded. I have presents for Emily-of course! She did very well with her surgery yesterday. Jess texted me around 10am that they were home and she was happy and playing. Hope she does well on the plane today.
Bryan has been doing a great job cleaning the house for my parents arrival. I was going to come home and help but I hurt my back lifting something, and I was so exhausted from the day yesterday that I fell asleep at 8pm! But I got up early today to get some cleaning done.

Good Morning Alissa & TMB!

I get more excited by the day with my results from the recent surgery.  I am 12 days out today.  I feel great.  A little tenderness on my right side but overall, I am fine.  Alissa, enjoy your famiy visiting with you.  I hope everyone has a beautiful day.

Good morning everyone!  Not much to report here.  It's just Tuesday!  And it's going to be a slow day at work.  Tuesday's always are.  Maybe I can take a half day of leave and come home and do some cleaning of my own.  Alissa, if you need somewhere to come clean, you can help me with my room!  On second thought, no.  You don't need to see my mess!  It's bad when you're a slob and don't really want to be but just can't help yourself!  I hate that about myself!  I don't really want to be a slob, but I'm a piler.  And I come by it honestly.  Both of my parents are pilers, and collectors, but they have it under control, sort of.  Mom makes sure of it.  If she weren't there, I think Dad would be buried under it tho! LOL!!  She controls it better than the rest of it.

Therese has morning classes Mon and Wed, and evening classes Tue and Thurs.  So that means I'll have a couple of evenings to myself for a few weeks.  Or until this semester is out at least.  Don't know what I'll do with myself!  Yes I do.  Actually it will be nice to have the time alone.  She has been getting on my last nerve lately.  I love my sister, really I do, but I'm thinking it's time to get my own place.  I've been here 7 years, and it's getting old, fast!!  After I find out about a job in the next couple of months, I'll find out if I can get my own place!!

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

Alissa you are so lucky that your family will be here today.  Have lots of fun with them, especially that little one.  Wish mine was going to be here! Well another night of VBS down and 3 more to go.  We had 13 kindergardeners last night and my body is telling me about it today.  I am sore from doing all the dance moves and getting down on the floor with all the kids.  My body just does not like doing those things anymore.  Today I have to go to the base and get some scripts that I dropped off last week, and then Mark is taking me over to the taylors so I can get my formal dress taken in.  It is about 10 sizes to big and we have a formal dinner to go next week.  Also have a dress that he bought me 8 years ago for his Dad's funeral.  I refuse to get rid of it, so we are going to make it so it fits.  Would like to wear it.  Weatherman just said 108 for today so I think I will stay in as much as I can.  The heat really wears me out.  Please keep my Dad in prayer as he goes tomorrow to have his knee done.  Thanks.  Liz glad you are home safe and sound.  Please take care of yourself and feel better.  I worry about you!  Did you get a new phone yet?  Ok time to get a move on.  Prayers this morning for those in need.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys!  Michelle

Good morning all!! Been up for 2 hours, and already running out of time...sigh...Did some online job searchs, etc, and some "networking" with some folks I know in the nursing biz...trying to be more proactive..

Worked 8am-8pm yesterday, and the case is nearly an hour drive from home, so made for a long day. Going back today. Very nice family...the pt was still alert/talking when I got there yesterday morning, but had changed quite a bit by last night. I'm pretty sure I won't be staying there all week..but..like I always tell people "my crystal ball broke a long time ago"!! Everyone does their death in their OWN time and their own way...and that's plenty okay with me...I'm just THERE...

Hope everyone stays as cool and HYDRATED as possible today--don't want y'all to get all shrivelled up!!

Thank you, ALYSSA. I have started carrying some resumes with me and handing them out, when people ask for them--something I was hesitant to do before.
