this is a semi cross post.. but yeah.
Im 6 days out-ish.. I had my sleeve on the 8th @ Memorial Hermann in Memorial City...

The first night.. I had a med reaction and some swelling.. and ended up puking all my saliva up into towels.. every 30 mins or so.. so my poor little new sleeve went on a roller coaster ride..

We're still working on getting proper liquids.. todays the first day I even approached it...

But I am home.. and am happy with my decision :)

Rough first day.. but it's just going to get better and better..

and I couldn't have did any of it without my parents being here.. I admire anyone who went thru this alone.. my parents have been so amazing....

Congrats on your surgery. I promise it does get easier. Just remember sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk. I'm seven weeks out myself so I understand the liquid thing; but it's like it all just falls together in time and it all becomes routine.
I know you will do great.

Congrat on being on the loser's bench and well on your way through recovery.  It'll get better the further out you are.  Hang in there.  Keep working on the sipping.  You'll be amazed at how quickly you'll be able to add in liquids.  Keep moving, too.

I am so happy that you are on the other side with out any complications.  You are right, it just gets better.  Enjoy the ride and take care of yourself!

I am so glad that you are home and feeling better----I to am still struggling with getting in all my water---I think I may have gotten all of it in 1 day and that is it the rest of the time I am lucky if I get in half of what I am supposed to!

I am so glad your parents are there to help you---Get better soon---

Glad to see you posting.  You've been missed around here.  I'm sorry you had such a rough first day, but it will be a distant memory very soon. Like everyone else said...sip,sip,sip, and WALK, WALK, WALK.  It will make a huge difference in how you feel.
