The NIGH****CHMAN - Monday - 7/13
Made sure I watched Big Brother before I went to work last night. Tomorrow's episode will be watched Wednesday morning. So if anyone wants to discuss BB with me, remember I will be a day late most of the time (except Sundays - normally).
Ready for the work week to get going.
Oleta's mother developed another infection. The doctors are not sure if it will impede her progress at this time. Also, she is very depressed. One of her sisters thought it was necessary to just blurt out and tell her she would not be going to her son's wedding this weekend (in Colorado). Oleta was going to wait until Tuesday or so and have the doctor in there assisting with the information. Some people.
Prayer requests are listed below.
Also, please feel free to just visit here. Tell us about how your day went. Your successes. Your failures. Your fun. Whatever. When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.
Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness. Please thank God for these men and women every day. In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Just the usual around here. The realtor was supposed to come by and take photos today, but had some other things come up so she'll be here tomorrow. I spent the weekend doing more cleaning out and packing in preparation for that. Today, I did the last finishing touches needed for the photos and have been doing laundry, went to my shrink. I need to finish up an assessment for my interview at Komen and their job application, print resumes for all of my interviews throughout the week and finish packing. I'm trying to be on the road around 9:30 tomorrow which I know will get me up there super early, but I'd rather be early and hang than be panicked because I'm running late.
I'm always cold, too. My car was reading 102 degrees when I was driving home from my shrink and I'm wearing my usual black cashmere cardigan. When Michael's in ATL, I keep the house at 80. When he's home, the warmest I get him to agree to is 77 and I freeze.
The rest of this week, I'll be staying in Aubrey and interviewing in north Dallas. I'm not really nervous and I'm not getting my hopes up. We shall see what happens.
I'm sorry to read about Oleta's sisters breaking the bad news to her in such a manner. Families make things tough sometimes.
I need to go feed the dogs and stay out of Michael's way while he's cooking dinner. I'll check in throughout the night. Prayers for all who need them.

If I were lying, wouldn't my pants be on fire?!?
My 2nd interview with Susan G. Komen is at 4pm tomorrow. I have four interviews scheduled and then I'm attending a job fair on Thursday night.

Michael and I know what my salary needs to be. As long as I get an offer within the right range, he trusts me to make the decision on my own. If anything, I'm probably the tougher one in terms of what I feel is an acceptible commute, salary, etc. so I just need to let him know when to schedule the moving truck.

Just got in from my visit... Marvin is doing a lil better... looks like the infection is starting to fade =) Kidneys are no longer failing they are just being stubborn and trying to keep that infection but slowly letting go of it. Boulders are still there (that'll be out-patient after all this).
Got him to get up and walk tonight... we did 2 laps around the floor (the most he's done other than from the bed to the restroom and back 10 ft total) since Wednesday night. I'll be up there for about 3 hours tomorrow and he knows we are gonna DOUBLE that walk time when I get there! Gotta get his butt moving so he can go HOME lol
Taking the kids to see Harry Potter tomorrow night (midnight) then a lil sleep and back to the hospital Wed... I took the day off *smart cookie* lol
Hope everyone has a wonderful night... I'm hittin the pillows! NIGHT! =)
*Strength... it's inside, beside, behind and all around me*
Not much to say on my corner.....getting home late the last week and definately tonight - so I don't even get on line much - but had to put on some music onto a friend's mp3 player at work !!
I too don't care for the settings on the a/c at work...............the air blows right on me - I often go to the restroom just to put my fingers under some ho****er.................jacket is usually on also.
Amanda and I argue about the temp on the thermo here at home too...............then I worry when my dog starts "panting" in the house - so that means -its too hot in here for me him -too - so it comes down a notch and then on goes excess clothing..........multiple blankets and sometime........the electric blanket comes on during the night....................
of course - then go figure............I sleep with the fan on me full-blast for the noise !! lol
Well - gonna go play a few throws of farckle - wind down a little and off to bed..
NIGHT NIGHT

Already told ya' how my day went, tomorrow will be a bit busier as all three girls have tennis and will still be in mom and dad's small car. Can't complain, having dad do the work on my Suburban saves us a ton! It's supposed to rain here tomorrow though. Still will be ok for the girls as the tennis facility has both indoor as well as outdoor courts so if it's raining, they just go inside! Sarah is usually always inside anyway.
Gettin' late, guess I need to think about getting to sleep! I swear, my girls are like batteries....they use the overnight to just RECHARGE themselves so I need to do a little of that myself just to keep up with them!
