Survived my surgical procedure!

I am soooo glad I posted last week about surgical procedures after WLS.  Everyone put my mind at ease and I made it thru with flying colors.

The Conroe Sugrical Center is a great place!  Very friendly and above all, amazing staff.  When I woke up they had peanut butter, and water with no straw waiting on me!! I was soooo excited.  They really did listen!

My procedure went very well! Couldn't be happier!

 Congrats for the surgery, but I am wondering when you say Peanut Butter?? I have never heard of that right after surgery. Hmm guess they know what they are doing, I was on liquids after surgery, protein, water and sip sip sip

Robin she didn't have WLS, she had another surgical proceedure.  She just wanted to make sure the hospital staff didn't give her a bunch of sugar afterward since she is a WLS patient.

Trish glad you made it through safe and sound and that the staff catered to your needs.  Sounds like everything went great.

Robin - not a problem!!! I should have clarified a little more.  I had posted last week about a girly procedure I had and I was worried that they were going to make me drink sodas with a straw (6 months out and I still can't do straws), or make me eat  a bunch of crackers.  I was really tied up in knots about it.  Everyone here posted and helped me feel better about.  The surgical center was great!
