New to OH...

I'm new to OH, i had RNY Dec 17th 08, am 124 lbs down. But i was wondering if there is a forum for those who had surgeries gone wrong?? Mine came with a multitude of complications which i think are greatly affecting my mental state in going forward. It's taken me the last 7 months to HEAL from all that went wrong so I haven't been able to take care of myself post surgery the way i should have, nor have I been really able to exercise. So most the weight i've lost is just from smaller stomach.

But I'd like to know if there is some place I can turn to to maybe help me walk through the mental mess my Dr left me with to pick up.

Also, does anyone know of any Dr's in Houston/Sprin area that would pick up a previous Dr's patient as i've also had absolutely NO after care as far as my bypass is concerned.

Welcome to the BEST board on OH.   Sorry you've had such a lousy time of it with your surgery but I'm sure there are a ton of people here in your area with Doc suggestions...I know there are.  They'll be posting shortly I'm sure!

I am so sorry about your bad go of it so far!  124 pounds is amazing, and it sounds like it was hard won.  I pray that you find peace and good medical care going forward!  Welcome to the TMB, and feel free to post questions as often as possible.  You will get not only answers but lots of love and caring peeps to hold you up. 

I don't have answers, but I am sure someone down there in South Texas will have some good info for you.
