WLS EXPRESS - it's Monday
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
we like the house - our stuff will be here in a few hours so I hussled yesterday and got the little kids walls done - K got lime green and black triangles - looks like a banerfrom the sides of his windows, star bursts on the wall. Rach got giant orange, hot pink and red dimonds all over her room - did stuff on the outside of both doors too so Rach can now find peoples rooms better LOL - need to do our room and the teens still but will wait till next weekend when hopefully we can go to savannah and hit a decent fabric shop - I love doing the fabric on the walls makes for very easy clean up and/or change
cats all made it - they are all over Tim - who is going back agiantoday to ortho - his insision is infected and she (ortho) reopened and packed it fri - so hoping it gets better SOON!!
I stayed off my scale fri, sat, sun and let me tell you I was teriffied of it this am - but I am still with in my bounce - at the top but I am also due to start tomorrow so that is OK - but was shaking bad when I weighted this am - crazy huh - like I could put 200 pounds back on or even 20 in 3 days but not weighting left me very outta control feeling -
off to FB now - I am not good with getting pics on here - sorry but I did post a few of tim and the kids this weekend over there
ok and now for my standard ending
you had your surgery to be HEALTHY so do what YOU need to do to be HEALTHY...... drink your WATER, eat your PROTIEN, MOVE your body

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
I had a pretty busy weekend. Went to the Peach Festival in Weatherford Saturday morning. Not a Parker County Peach in sight. We drove out and there was a vendor on the side of the road and I stopped to ask if she had PCP's. Yup! They are good too! The paper said that they lost 80% of their crop this year to the late frosts in April and most of what was salvaged was used by vendors to make the ice cream, cobblers, peach juleps, etc that was for sale at the festival. Interesting because everyone was crowded around the produce booths looking for the actual peaches!!!
After the festival, went to mom's and did inventory on her fabric. We got it done, but we have to go back next weekend and do her books and patterns. Not looking forward to it, but it has to be done. Hopefully, she'll get some of it done this week and it won't be much to do on Saturday.
Sunday, I started cleaning out the piles of junk I had in my bedroom so we can get my new bed in there. (I bought a new oak sleigh bed!) I've already thrown out one bag of trash. I just keep looking at this stuff and wondering why I kept it! I really need to rethink my habits! Two slobs living together isn't working!!
Then on Sunday, we went to Sam's Club to get some shopping out of the way, and my car battery died!! Had to get a neighbor come down to jump me off, and Walmart next door had the size battery I needed! It was pretty hot out there too!! I'm just glad that the food was ok in the car without the air conditioner!!
Well, off to work to get some rest!! Gone to FB real quick and then to the shower!! Have a great day everyone! Love ya!!

instead of being amazed at one trash bag see how many you can get rid of - and then start a goodwill pile/box and see how much you can get rid of that way - something totally liberating about decluttering - feel free to call if you need moral support - I am GOOD at getting rid of crap LOL

Good to see you posting and so GLAD that you and the kiddo's made it safely. I know you guys are all "much happier" now to be reunited with Tim. Although you will be muchly missed by us.....your extended familly here in Texas. I have a busy day today....my baby son is going to Orientation at UTA and guess what...he is making me go too. LOL I guess it is OK since I went to cosmetology school and not a regular college. It may be fun going with him. Anyway had to stop and tell you we love you and the kids and we will miss you alot in the future. Thank GOD for the computers though so we can all stay in touch.
Hugs and blessings !!! Vivian
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Glad to see you and the kids/cats made it safely. I'm sure your scale won't blow up when you get on it lol. Wow I wish I had as much energy as you do, you already have lots done on the house. Don't over due it with the unpacking and such. Your such an over achiever lol.
I'm a little sore today from my workout yesterday, damn hip didn't expect that one, and my knees are a little sore which I did expect. I've been doing really good with my training for the 1/2 Marathon, so I know I will be ready in November. I really need to do better on getting in more protein and less carbs.
I'm working both jobs today but If I get off on time from first job I should be able to squeeze in a 30 minute workout and have time for a shower lol, before I have to be at my second job.

Today my neice Emily Grace has to have tubes put back in her ears. If you all remember when she was here in Dec she had to have emergency surgery because she had a massive bone infection in her left ear. They put tubes in then, but the left one fell out and she's had alot of infections since then and failed a hearing test too. We hope that is because of the infection. The doctor is putting new tubes in both ears today. Tomorrow she and her mommy and her grandparents are all flying here to Texas. Doc said she could fly, no problem. So, we're pleased because we've been planning on them coming for a while, but I just ask for prayers that her surgery goes well.
We plan on going to Chef Point Cafe tomorrow. We've all seen the Diners Drive-Ins and Dives episode on Food Network about it. Hopefully we'll get a table.
Today starts a 4 day training at our work for our consumers. Its job readiness training-interviewing skills, writing a resume, how to find jobs, etc. Should be good, but lots of work of course. I'll post an update on Emily when I can get to my computer, later today, on this thread.
Hope everyone has a great day today!!!!
