Good evening all.  Typed this up at home and forgot to hit submit.  Sorry 'bout that.

Had a decent weekend.  Didn't work and spent almost every waking hour with my lovely wife.

Eddie's baseball team got whupped.  Plain and simple. Three times.  They are not a full select team, but they are playing in select tournaments for experience.

Oleta's mother was moved from ICU to CCU.  Praise God.

Prayer requests are listed below.

Also, please feel free to just visit here.  Tell us about how your day went.  Your successes.  Your failures.  Your fun.  Whatever.  When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness.  Please thank God for these men and women every day.  In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Pray for those employed by Bell Helicopter, that are on strike.  Pray for a resolution to the strike. Pray for the families.

Anne (Lalocaweta) - as she continues her fight.  Also for her spouse as the company he works for is closing it's doors.

Dana - requests prayer for her sister, Renee.  She had tumor on her jaw removed.  Now needs jaw reconstruction on 7/23 - (10 hour surgery scheduled).

George - prayers for Oleta J., Brad's MIL.  She is in JPS with pneumonia and COPD among other health issues. Update:  She was being tested for lung cancer on 7/1.  Also pray for Brad's wife, also Oleta.  Give her strength at this time.

Janet (1divaatheart) - her husband's kidney will be removed on 7/16, followed by lots of followup.

Just_Me has requested prayer for Gina A who lost her step mother suddenly.  In addition, her grandmother is in a nursing home and not doing well.

Karen (Misty750342002) - A friend of Karen's from work (who is like a son to her), Dustin Murphy, is 24 years old and has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease.

Meggie - friend Nancy is in assisted living home and is on her last days.  Pray for Meggie's family also as they try to fight through this.

Robin S. requests prayer for her son Tyler who is on his liquid diet, with WLS scheduled for 8/4.

Sandi B. requests prayer for Marvin who was at urgent care for 12 hours, then ER for 9 more.  Kidney failure

Vicki V.  - husband Patrick has Ataxia and Neuropathy of the left side.  Which basically means he has virtually no feeling in his left leg and foot. Experiencing fatigue.

Below are two of God's children that definitely need our prayers.  These are two specific cases, we know there are others out there.  Remember them too.

Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2. She has improved, but still needs our prayers.  Pray for this brave little girl.

Vanessa - We have all followed the story of Elizabeth.  Here is her Caringbridge page:

Evening George,

Lori's father passed Friday afternoon, Thanks to all for the prayers.  I was comforted to hear that he and the family, had a very compassionate and caring nurse in his last hours.

Not much new here.  Sorry to hear Eddie's team got whupped, but know the kids got some great experience in.

Prayers for all of the spoken and unspoken requests.

Blessings to all.

Eddie was typical Eddie.  Walked off the field with a big old smile on his face.  He loves the game.

Also, I just wanted you to know I saw your post on Friday post, but I really do not post on TMB much at all, if anything during the weekend.  Sorry to hear of your friend's passing.

Hey George...
Fairly easy, laid back kinda day.  YIPPEEE!!!  Went to church early, then home.  Dad decided to take a peek at my brake pads to see if they were ok as he thought they felt "squishy" (which I didn't think they were but hey, if he wants to look, go right ahead), so took one of the front tires off and found the brake pads were fine, but some buffer for the shocks was completely deteriorated.  He went to Advanced Auto to see if they had them but found out it's something that is only available from the dealership so he'll be checking with one in the morning.  Soooo, my Suburban is still up on jacks and I had to use their car to do some errands with mom.  No biggy, but odd to drive their car!!!  Hopefully we can get the couple replacement parts early tomorrow and then my car back to "drive status" by later in the day.  No tennis for the girls tomorrow so even if he needs to work on the car most of the day, shouldn't be a huge issue.

Sarah fell asleep on the couch so I guess I'd better scoop her up and off to bed!

 Good morning George...

yes I should be at the gym however went to bed feeling ICK and woke up feeling ICKY... still going to work but not to the gym... will take my stuff with and maybe make it to the one at work (if not plenty of walking at the hospital tonight again)  Update on Marvin... kidneys are starting to clear ... out of the failure status... several stones (we call them boulders) blocking passage.

Spirits are up... I have been at the hospital till 11 or 12 every night.  I spent all day Saturday (was there at 12 and left at 12)  Sunday got up, had coffee, went to church (starts at 1040) ended at 150 then up to the hospital... held Marvin's hand for 3 hours while they poked and prodded him to get a new IV (the one he had backed up cause of an anti-biotic) FINALLY we got a vein and back to more pain meds... that part drained me seeing him in SO much pain and agony.  I will be back at the hospital after work today and again tomorrow and again... as long as he's there I'll be at the hospital.

Will have the kids tuesday night (taking them to the MIDNIGHT showing of Harry Potter and the HalfBlood Prince... already got the tickets!!! yay mom!) then wednesday will take them back to dad's and then up to the hospital with Marvin or to his house... wherever he may be.

Can you say BUSY?  So busy my cat looks at me and is probably saying "mom is that you?"
