Elizabeth slept very good last night. She finally starting resting and hasn't had any pain medicine since about midnight. She has been very very sleepy all day. Her bp is still high but is coming down with bp medicines. ALL her counts looked a little better this morning. Praise God! The first thing I do when I open my eyes is get her counts and it made me so happy to see everything a little improved. They took her pic line out today so now she just has the one temporary line in her neck with 3 lumens. She will get some sort of central line next. She was still bleeding alot last night from her mouth and line but it stopped and she has not bled today. Since nothing has grown and we still have no answers the next plan is to do a Ct scan on Monday morning of her liver, map out the lesion areas and then do a liver biopsy where they open her up and actually take out one of the lesions. We could do the same thing in the brain but thought opening the liver was a little safer than opening the brain! However, she has been bleeding so much these are both risky and we are  preparing her for this this weekend with Vitamin K. Tomorrow on the 12th DJ and I will be married 12 years! WOW! That alone is a MIRACLE so lets all pray hard our MIRACLE baby will give us the gift of her healing! WE ARE ALL BELIEVING in her and God! We are taking each day one hour at a time and just thanking Jesus she is continuing to improve. Remember all our St. Jude friends, especially Alex our M7 buddy who has just relapsed. He and his family need all our prayers. I am so thankful for St. Jude, they are taking such good care of Elizabeth. Our nurse the last 2 days, Michelle, has been here for 31 years!!! She said this job has made her life so easy; her problems are small compared to what she sees here. God Bless the staff at SJCRH! Keep Praying Keep Believing Love, Michelle

I have two sides to my brain - a right side and a left side.  The trouble is sometimes there is nothing left in the right side and nothing right in the left side.

Thanks Vanessa for the update on Elizabeth Grace.   So glad that she slept good last night.   Still praying for her and her family and for God's healing for her.

My prayers go out to this little girl and her family.

Was she a preemie?  I don't understand all the medical lingo in the updates and not up-to-date on her current condition.  Can you tell me why she is in the hospital right now and what is going on with her brain and liver and the bleeding?
