Saturday WLS Express

OK all, I'm pretty bummed today.  Matty got home from work yesterday and his air conditioner was out in the house.  The house was 89 degrees.  He has a house warrenty so he called it in but they have 24 hours to have a tech to call.  So he's stuck at the house waiting for someone to call and come out.  He wants me to go ahead and come to the BBQ without him and he will get there when he and if he can.  This is so spoiling my weekend.  I want him there to share in the hugs and oh's and ah's and well wishes.  So please pray that they call early and get out there quickly.  This is my birthday weekend afterall so that is my birthday wish.

Up. Showered.  Shaved.  Coiffed.  Make Up'd.  Almost dressed.  (heading for a job interview in a few minutes, shhhhh) 

Had a great time with Steph, Terry, Becky, Kathy B. and even good old Clay.  Emm didn't want to play with the old folks! LOL

Oh Lordy Lordy after that Mamma Mia Dancing Queen practice I'm seriously thinking we are NOT headed for Broadway anytime soon!  It'll be a hoot though.

The BBQ / Swim Party is going to be such fun.  I missed last year's because I was only 2 weeks out from surgery. 

We are going to have FUN!!!  No whining, no complaining - just FUN!!   Whiners and complainers beware - I've had a rough week and you might land in the water ... just sayin'!! 

Must got finish dressing ... see everyone at the bestest party this side of Rockwall later today!

Good Morning Yall, I am up with Clay and Terry Ann we are all surfing. Terry just said she has to go get one of her nails fixed.. Road Trip.. Maybe Walmart. hehehehehehhe
I'm so glad Steph let me crash her slumber party. I wouldnt have wanted them to talk about me for too long before I got to chime in and defend myself..
I am do excited about gettig to see all my favorite peeps today.
i am not excited about having to go back to work on Monday. But, I guess I should try to deal with that when it happens.
Today is going to be HOT..Drink your water. Safe travels to everyone.. Especially Danni... Hugs to you.. You are very missed already.

Don't be complaining about going back to work, Jodie's reading and you could end up WET...just sayin'...

Today's the day!!  WooHoo!  Karen and I will be leaving for Rowlett later this a.m.  We can't wait!  Funny, I watched Mamma Mia last night with a friend.  Why on earth didn't they dub a good voice over Pearce Bronson?  He's nice to look at but  that voice*****  OUCH!!  Got my potato salad made and finishing up house cleaning this a.m.  See a lot of y'all later on!  Have a good one.

Morning... Mama Mia, how can I resist it..?   time to get ready to party....  Terry is showering, Kathy  is on a Sbux run, and our hostest JUST GOT UP!!  We have to keep her off the bottle ... lol

Might need to make a run for Dancing Queen provisions.. Jodie is ready to hair toss,, but the rest of us, well, we still need practice.. Steph and I did it twice last night and were worn out.

Emm is still crashed.. she has become a Farkler.. thank you all for making her feel a part of our family even if she hates Mama Mia!!

Morning all...I actually slept in on party day.  Well I'm up and at em now.  Briskets are on the smoker and the neighbors are gonna be jealous.  Got to head out in a few to fill the ice chests and the girls want to look for some feather boas for the video production.  Will see a LOT of you later and to the rest we sure will miss you but pics and video to follow.

Good morning Train Riders!  I got to sleep in this morning, which is rare for me.  Though I did stay up till 1am watching Babylon 5.  We're in season 4 now and I'm totally hooked.  Made a late trip to Walmart to pick up the stuff for mock potato salad.  Jeff gave it his seal of approval and it sure does taste a lot like my Mom's mustard potato salad.  Hope everyone else likes it today, but if not I'll munch on it at home!

Looking forward to hanging with everyone today.  Unfortunately I can't swim (darn doc), but I can hang out, get my feet wet and enjoy everything else.  Jeff's coming too, which I'm so happy about.  He always has fun once he gets to an event, but getting him to agree to come is always a bit of a challenge. 

I'm happy that I got to see Danni and the kids yesterday before they left.  Gave everyone a hug till the next time and it helped me mentally a bit.  Talked and texted with her off and on last night and made me realize yet again technology sure brings all of us closer together than we used to be.  I'm thankful that we have so many ways to keep in touch with friends and family that are far away these days.

Good Morning OH Family!

Danni called me around midnight last night had a nice visit and she was stopping for the night. Rachel had just woke up so it was time. Glad she stopped. Going to do our Walmart run this morning and than head to the BBQ probably be there around 3ish.I always check our bank account online daily(esp after my identity was stolen a few years ago) and noticed yesterday that our car insurance was drafted out twice. Called them and they said it will take at least 72 hrs to credit it back to the account! Going to be a tight weekend. Well better get going here. Make sure you drink lots of water and stay cool today.
