I had my RNY 5/11 so I'm almost 2 months out and here lately it seems like I can eat a lot more than what I had been able to...   IT also seems like I haven't been losing weight for the the past month or so... My scale is broke so I go by the way I'm feeling. (going to get a new one payday)  I feel as if I screwed something up because I thought I would've lost a lot more weight by now than what I have.  I'm not as faitful as I'd like to be with the gym or exercising that is changing today getting ready to walk on the treadmill at the gym, cuz we just got back from a vacation and I'm not feeling all that great with the way things have been going to this point.  I feel a million times better but feel that I'm not losing like I should be.

We all lose at different rates.  HAve you taken your measurements?  When you stop losing pounds you will lose inches. I stalled from week 2-5.  I actually gained a couple of pounds during that time and I wasn't eating anything.  I didn't realize I was even losing inches because I was still wearing the same clothes.  But when I went to to take my measurments I realized I was losing that way.  I was even able to go and buy some smaller pants and tops.

You probably can eat more than you could at first.  At first we could barely eat anything.  But that doesn't mean you are eating too much.  Just follow the rules and you will be fine.  This will work.
You have made the first step by coming here and telling us how you feel and committing to doing what you should.  We are here to help and support you.

WOW you are having the VERY SAME feelings that we ALL have experienced at one time or another.    You sound like you have hit your first plateau.   First off....don't weight but once a week ( if that often ) for the first year after your WLS.   You will get discouraged it you weight more often.    My weight is like a roller coaster ride still at almost 4 yrs post op.    I know it is hard staying off the scales...you want to see those numbers go down !!!   We all do but for the first year they will go down...sometimes not as fast as you would like but that will happen.   When you NEED to weight all the time is when you hit the one yr mark.    That way you will be aware of where you are and if you are staying there.    As far as the food increase.....that is totally normal.    I am still amazed sometimes by how much I can put  away....but yet my pouch is still small.    Good luck and don't be so hard on yourself....that is easy to say....LOL  I use to do the very same thing.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Are you tracking your intake? How much protein are you getting each day? Are you getting all of your water in? Have you talked to your surgeon about your concerns? Is he happy with your progress?

And, I'd be willing to bet there's a scale at your gym that you can use until you can get a new one. Check the locker room and if there isn't one there, ask someone on staff.
