Good Morning All,
Predicted to reach 104 here today!  Think I'll stay in all day!  TGIF.  Tomorrow the big BBQ with old and new friends. Can't wait to see Annette's ring!  So happy for her.  Deb, hope the BBQ gives your mind a pleasant diversion from missing Danni.  Prayers are going up for her and the kids for a safe trip and happy welcoming with Tim. Y'all have a good one.

Good Mornig Alissa and my TMB Family,

I can not believe I slept till almost 7:00 this morning.  No problems with my hips.  Guess the fact that I took a pill and a half of Ultram before I went to bed helped too.  We went to family night last night at the Camp.  Eric looks good but very tired.  He was glad to see us, but I think we were happier to see him.  I am going to post some pictures later.  They did a competiton where they worked in twos changed tires on a race car.  Eric and his partner came in 2nd.  It was kind of cool.  I have no plans for today.  Have to go and get Eric at the church at 1:30 but other then that I am going to stay where it is cool!  I like everyone else dont like the heat at all.  Tonight will be laundry and getting Eric setteled in.  Tomorrow I will be spending most of the day at the church getting my VBS classroom ready.  Danni, have a safe trip.  You are so loved and will be missed.  I know I did not get to see much of you, but you are in my thoughts always.  I love you girl!  Prayers for those traveling today.  Have a great time tomorrow.  I will miss you guys.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

Debbi, you could warn a girl.  I've got my box of tissues right here.  I do love that song though.  Danni, going to miss you horribly but will take care of Debbi for you and love H dog.  You will be happy to know that he even listens to my daddy.  : )

For those that didn't see my separate post or on facebook, I am engaged.  Matt took me to our first date place for dinner and then to the park we went to on our fist date and proposed there.  Then the kicker was bringing out my grandmothers ring.  My dad had taken him aside on the day of my mom's memorial service and offered it to him.  Matt was very honored that my dad would do such a thing on the day he was saying goodbye to his own wife and then to honor Matt in such a way just blew him away.  Just goes to show the respect that my dad has for Matt.

Saying prayers for all of you.  Have a great day and hope to see most of you at the BBQ tomorrow.  Maybe this won't be such a bad birthday afterall.

Yes, I am back from vacation. No, I am not happy. I get really down after a vacation. I am going to have to really watch my deppression level...:(
I do not know why I am up. I went to bed at 3:00 am... Couldn't sleep. Now, I am up and doing my last 2 loads of laundry. Maybe I do have a touch of all my peeps OCD.. mmmm...
I sure do miss a lot of people I have not gotten to see in a while.

Good morning...YES it is a good morning.  I've got my friends here and my house is clean and I'm gonna get to spend some precious time with those I hold close to my heart tomorrow.  What more could I ask for?

We're gonna head towards Plano later this morning to hug Danni one last time.  Hopefully a few of you from that area can meet up with us for a little bit.  Might do a little thrift store shopping on the way back too.  Then it's time to set up tables and canopies for tomorrow.  We've got 4 briskets defrosting to smoke in the morning and other than setting stuff up, we're ready.

Better go water some plants...

Good morning, TMB!!!

I am in Rowlett this morning.  Got here about 7 last nite and we went to dinner and a swim and I crashed.  I keep thinking today is Saturday 'cuz yesterday was my Friday.

I have a funny - I was packing for Mom's move this weekend and in her collection of frogs I found a "Bella Frog".  So, Bella's frog is in my car for Wiz if she makes it up here this weekend.

Ok, enough about ME!  DANNI: we are gonna miss you girl but I see a road trip to GA in my future!!!!  GA is only a couple of states away, right???  See you in a bit for a {{{{{HUG}}}}}!!!!

Good morning Texas!

I have decided that today is "pajama day" at my house.  I'm going to stay at home in my pj's all day.  I even let DH take my car to work so I'm not tempted to go anywhere.  I seem to be recovered from my dehydration incident yesterday, although my leg muscles are tender.  I'll will be making sure I get all my liquids in from now on.  That was not fun!

I'm on a quest to de-clutter my house.  That's hard to do.  I have a bunch of my Mom's stuff that I just couldn't part with 3 years ago when we cleaned out her house.  I'm not feeling so sentimental about it now.  I have discovered freecycle.com is a great way to get rid of stuff I don't want any more.  If you don't use freecycle you should.  You can post anything you want to give away and people who want it reply with emails.  You choose who you want to give it to and arrange for them to pick it up.  We used to donate everything to Goodwill, but that meant hauling it to the donation center.  Since DH doesn't really do well with lifting and toting lately, it's great.  You can also use freecycle to ask for anything you want.  I'm hooked on freecycle.

I've downed my first cup of coffee - having Starbucks withdrawals.  In Houston there seems to be one on every corner.  It's 20 miles from my house to the nearest Starbucks.  Thank God I have a Keurig coffeemaker. 

I'm pea green with envy of all of you who are headed to Stephanie's for the barbecue.  Some day I'm just going to throw caution to the wind and drive to one of those events with or without DH.  But not this weekend.

Go out and make it a great day ... make good choices ... drink your water!  They weren't kidding about dehydration after WLS.  It can happen to you!
