Our Journey Through Life
We often refer to our WLS as a journey that never ends. We follow the rules and we live and love each other to support our Journey. Tom and I have learned that a journey can be a very different event in our lives.
Today we start a new journey for a friend, a daughter and a vital part of this board. She starts a new journey that must be followed. As Danni leaves us she takes a giant step for her family. She will not be with us daily, she will be in a new place with other WLS'ers that will love her like we do.
She will be here daily continuing to amaze us with her energy, her love of life and her never ending quest for the best in life. She will continue to be an amazing person and keep us all in check. If you have never become exhausted from reading her day, you must be dead.
She has brought us a zest for life that has on more than one occasion kept me going, let me know that I can do more and helped me stay on that endless track we all seek. She is Mother Earth and through all she has suffered she has kept us smiling.
I wish her a safe trip, wish she would stop and sleep, an uneventful trip, and loving arms in Georgia to hold her and keep her safe.
The light at the end of this journey is that North Texas is her home. When Tim is no longer protecting us all, they will return to us where our arms will welcome her back. As for now, be safe my child, continue to love life, and may God watch over you and your family. Your decision is correct and righteous. Your love is special and we are here and always will be. God has taught us that love is patient and we will be patient until your journey brings you back.

Dang did you have to make me cry. Que, I know y'all are going to miss having Danni around, I know how hard it is to be so far away from everyone I love so much. Saying this thank the good Lord for text and telephones, even though she isn't within touching distance, Danni will always be close to talk to, laugh with, cry with and celebrate with each of us.
Danni, I wish you the best in GA. Being with Tim is so important to you and your children. Stay in touch ladybug, and we'll see you aroun. Hopefully in September we'll see each other in person.

Danni - although we haven't spent much time together in real life, the times we have been together will remain in my head and in my heart.
There's one thing you said and it sticks with me and that is "I CAN DO ANYTHING FOR ONE MORE MINUTE". Those days when I want to stop walking before I should, I remember that. Those days I want to walk out the door of my job because it's a bad day, I remember that.

Danni, you know you are loved and always will be close to our hearts and in our heads with your Danni-isms. (see Jodie's quote). The people of Georgia will love you as much as we do and will delight in watching you plant the seeds to spin that cotton to make those diapers just like we did. We'll see you in a few hours, whenever princess Terry rolls out of bed.
