 One WOW moment that stands out in my mind was probably about a year post op.   I went to a school choir concert for my youngest son at a church.   I walked up to him and he was surrounded by some of his friends who had met me before.    When I walked away one of his friends asked who I was....he told them that was his mom.   They replied your Stepmom ???   He said NO I don't have a Stepmom....that is my MOM !!!   LOL  They couldn't believe that was really me.  They also said I looked years younger.   That made me feel so good that not only had I lost the weight but also looked younger to these teenage boys.
