Thursday WLS Express

GOOD MORNING! Except that I thought today was Friday when I first got up-then I realized-nope, its thursday! RATS!!! Oh well, ALL ABOARD!

Morning everyone! I have been enjoying our "cooler" weather but then it had to go and get very hot yesterday. Guess we're in store for even more of that as the week goes on. Went and got my hair done after work yesterday, then went to 2 Wal-Marts on the way home because I was looking for something specific and the one on Hulen didn't have it, so had to stop at another one and they did have it. However neither Wal-Mart had strawberries-which is odd. I LOVE strawberries and was looking forward to eating some last night with SF coolwhip for dessert, but alas.... I couldn't. It was just too dang hot to make another stop after that at a grocery store. I did find some great deals on shorts and t-shirts at Wal-Mart- $4 for a shirt, $6-9 for shorts. So I picked up a few things there.
Chris is going to see Kung Fu Panda at the theater this morning with our neighbor and her kids. We own the movie, but its a $2 showing at the Harkins in Southlake and he gets to do something fun with some friends. So that will be good. Next week is Hotel for Dogs-hoping the sitter will take him, as he wants to see that and we never got around to seeing it.

Well, good morning everyone!  I dont' know why I can't get to bed before 11 PM.  It's not like I'm doing anything really important!  I try to get to bed at 9 but for some reason, I look at my watch and it's 11 PM already!  Gotta work on that one.

Life goes on.  I guess I'm in a rut.  Not liking it either.  Not much to say so I guess I'll say goodbye for now.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day!  Love ya!

Oh, P.S.  Therese got a 98.? in her Minority Aging class.  She's starting off college with a bang!!  I hope she can keep it up and get a great GPA!

ohhhhhhhh i havent seen Hotel for Dogs! I attempted to as i got it from the 'red box' outside walgreens but it was scratched and unable to play. hope Chris enjoys himself!

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

Alissa, BIG BROTHER starts tonight.  I am so excited.  Not sure what kind of a season it will be but we will see.  I am going to tape it, as we are going to family night at Eric's camp tonight.  It will be good to see him.  We have missed him so much.  He will be coming home tomorrow.  I had a terriable nights sleep.  Was up at 3 with so much pain in my lower back I had to take a pain killer to get back to sleep and it worked for a couple of hours.  Now I am up again still in pain but I took some Tylenol and hope it will help.  I really dont want to get in the habit of taking pain pills.  I stoped doing the PT cause I will feeling pretty good and the pain had gone away!  Uggg...some days I feel like I am totally falling apart.  Doctors appt this morning with the gastro doctor, to have my ulcer checked on, and then a stop at Walmart to pick up scripts.  It is supposed to be very very hot today so I am going to stay in the AC as much as I can.  I really dont like the heat.  Danni, I am so sorry I did not get back to you yesterday.  I had a bad tummy day yesterday and spent a lot of the day laying down.  I will call you later today though.  Take a deep breath, and just keep telling yourself in a few days you will be with your sweetie.  You and your family are all in my prayers.  Watch those packers today if they are anything like the ones that did ours you got to watch them every step of the way.  Lynette have you started your new job yet?  What exactly are you going to be doing?  Liz are you up and about and feeling 100% yet?  Wish I was going to get to see you this weekend but such is life.  Prayers for all that are in need this morning.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

unfortunately no, not even close to 100%. This SUCKS!!! I was telling my mom about you celebrating your 24 years in sobriety and that food was your hardes addiction to conquer. She was very impressed (alcoholism runs in the family) Mom is a total tee totaler (sp??) and i basically only have somesthing when im out with my sistahs in DFW.  Always something im careful of. Wish i was seeing you as well, but i understand your situation. Hope i get to see you before you leave

Laura, I'm with you I cannot get to sleep at a decent time, I'm watching midnight roll around and I'm tired just can't sleep.

It's going to be scorching hot this weekend, they said from here to ElPaso except triple digit numbers, our weatherman said H-town to ElPaso will probably get record highs it the weather plays out like expected, lots of water for all of us.

I'm bummed I won't be at Steph's party but I made the right family decision to be with my sister for surgery in Houston in a couple of weeks.  It's just to much to be gone in a month.  Oh well it's life I'll live.  We are going to do some school shopping this weekend for the boys, we have just 5 weeks left and they are back in school again, these summers sure do fly.

Otherwise I'm doing well, just real busy.  Work is hot right now, so much to do for us; no complaints (well nothing major anyway), I have a job.
