Thanks, Jodie, You're so sweet.
I've just been staying busy trying to find a job, honestly, and working out. Trying to take advantage of the not having a job to really get busy at the gym, so about 5 days a week i put in about an hour and a half there.
And i try to spend some time with my friends, when i can find something cheap or free to do, lol.
Let's see, what else - i spent a month taking care of a boyfriend who got hurt in a motorcycle accident. Seriously, over there every day for 6 to 8 hours at a time cleaning his wounds, bathing him, dressing him, running errands, helping around the house - just abut the time he goes back to work we have a disagreement and he dumps me. Jerk.
Turned out he was a lying jerk anyway, lol. Soooooo, now talking to someone else, spending about 2 hours a day , almost every day, on the phone. He's local, but we only met real life by chance one evening. He saw me out, recognized me from my dating site profile, came and said hello. Seems to be a quality guy, but we're taking it kinda slow, both of us fresh from relationships that ended badly.
Other than that, my one year surgiversary is approaching. i'm working hard to get that scale moving again. I'll have an update on the 21st about my last year.
I"m so glad to see you doing so well, girl ! I'm going to try to get back to the board more.
I do miss ya'll.
And all ya'll were so great about helping me in my presurgery days clear up to my first few months post op. I couldn't have done it without all ya'll.

I am fairly new to the site but I do not what I would do without it. I love reading stories like yours. You are an inspiration. I have been a little discouraged as of late because I have reached by 8month date and it is truly slow! I wonder if my pouch is too big etc. I love reading because there are those just like me out there. I have come to realize everyone is different. You're an inspiration. You've come through so much, and done amazing. Congrats on all your accomplishments, and on your surgiversary ! Keep up the great work!! Also keep posting love to read. THANK YOU
Hijack- Wendy I feel your pain. Read my profile and I bet you'll see yourself. I SWORE Dr Barker made my pouch bigger than everyone else's. Actually, I still think he did BUT I reached goal and just have to deal with the hunger and quantity issues more than some others. But I'm healthy and have have no other issues so I'm still so very thankful for what he's done for me. Hang in there sweetie, it WILL happen for you too.
