We had such a great dinner last night with my surgery twin Terry. We talked and talked like long lost sisters. Some of the parallels in our lives are pretty amazing. We may have been separated at birth.
I've already been to Starbucks this morning and I'm back at the hotel watching the Today Show and drinking 24 ounces of water before I venture out for the day.
Tonight I'm cooking dinner at my son's house. His bride doesn't cook so she likes for me to come and cook and she watches and helps in the kitchen so she can learn. They have a fabulous kitchen and I love to cook there. You can comfortably have 4-5 people cooking at one time. It's huge compared to my little galley kitchen at home.
I'm trying to decide where to go today in the Houston area. I probably should call my sister up in Spring and see if she wants to have lunch. But she won't drive past The Woodlands so that means I have to go all the way across town every time I go see her. If she would just meet me halfway, I would feel like she's at least making an effort. Nick lives up in Summerwood, so I may just go up there and his some of the stores in Atascocita.
