Wednesday WLS Express!!

I went to the Crowne Plaza website and put in my address and got specific driving directions.  It says about 30 minutes.  It's 21 miles away so not terribly close but it should be a nice hotel.  Can't wait to see you (and your short hair)again.

I did too...not too bad of a drive...I got the room on Priceline.com namimg my own price, so it didn't give me a choice of hotels, just areas to choose from, but got a great price for 2 nights at a nice hotel.

I hope to see Danni Fri. afternoon when I get there before she leaves.

I was going to bring my pop up tent awning.  Did you need me too or do you have enough?

Good morning train riders, woke up WAY too early on my first day of vacation, 4:45!!  I told Clay last night to be really quiet cuz I was gonna sleep in, well that didn't happen.  Oh well, it's WooHoo Wednesday and my woohoo is that Becky comes tomorrow, Terry comes Friday and about 50-60 of ya'll come to see me on Saturday.  I can't wait.  My back seems a little better so hopefully, I'll get a few things done around here today.

Found out a few days ago that my sister was in the hospital for 8-9 days with severe pneumonia.  Apparently it was touch and go for a few days.  Luckily she is home now and doing better.  She is a bad diabetic and her sugars were way out of whack with everything too.  I got to talk to her last night and she sounds better but goes back to get another chest x-ray today.  Hopefully the worst is over.

Better go dust and mop...I'll be around all day if anyone needs or wants me...

 

Stephanie I hope you have a grand ol time with all your visitors.  You're such a gracios host and peppy person I've no doubt you'll all have  a blast.  Just remember to hydrate in that heat!! 

Ahem...and WHY aren't you coming missy?  I've still got a couple of openings....just saying they're yours if you can make it.

I'd love to, but my brother and his family are in town from Maryland and we're taking them to the lake for the weekend.  Thank you though.  That was very sweet.

Temp. is creeping back up.  I hate to see more triple digit days but looks like we're going to.  Yesterday was pretty calm.  Girls played good.  Got my back yard mowed late yesterday afternoon.  IT's amazing how fast it grows (or the weeds in it, at least).  Really looking forward to the BBQ at Steph's this Sat.  Hoping to meet some of you that I know only through posts.  Well, got to get going.  Y'all have a good one.

Happy 7-8-9!!  The power went off sometime last night so my alarm didn't go off but my internal clock woke me up so I wasn't running late.  I did wake up to an adrynalyn rush though.  ugh. 

Going to Danni's tonight to help get stuff organized and ready for the packers.  Leaving with a 110lb lab.  So not ready for this to be happening but I know this is what is best for Danni and her family.  Debbi and I will be here for each other.
