Thanks Debbi, Carol, Lynnette and Danni...all prayers appreciated.  I sure wish they didn't live so far away.  They've been in Dumas for 3 years since they got married and I've only seen them 2 times, when we used to see them a couple of weekends a month when they were at A & M.

Good Morning OH Family!

I'm so excited! My interview went very well. I go back on Wed to fill out HR paperwork, drug test etc. I was so nervous (yes Lynnette gets nervous sometimes lol) but I decided to just take a breathe and be myself. I had on my "interview suit" and some really cute shoes, well I looked at the bottom of my G-Will shoes had a big ol'$3 marked on the bottom! lol What was so neat, was that my interviewer is a OH'er she said she knew me from the boards and come to find out her and I had chatted about getting together 2 years ago. FIL is having surgery this morning on a blockage in his legs. Will go up the hospital later. Well better get another cup of coffee and get going. Thanks again for your prayers and support. BTW Mom is still doing well. She is truly a miracle.

Your loved!

Karla,

Thanks, I'm excited! BTW I had to smile the other day when they advertised "Greater Tuna goes to Vegas" they are in Dallas. That was such a funny show. Those of you that have not seen it need to. Karla and I really liked it.

Good morning Texas Train Riders (it is still morning, but just barely).

It is such a terrific day.  I'm in Houston.  While hubby works, I'm enjoying a cup of coffee in the hotel room.  I have 2 really big treats in store for me today.  My daughter and her family from San Antonio will be passing through Houston on the way home from Lake Charles.  They're going to be here for lunch so I get to see them. My step-granddaughter is here for the summer from Chicago.  I haven't seen her since November so that will be a big treat.  Not to mention, I get to hold Ezra.  You know how I love holding that grand baby.

And then, dinner with Terry Twinkie at Joe's tonight.  I'm so excited I can't wait.

The rainy day is a big bonus.  We haven't had rain at home in more than 6 months.  I hardly recognized it this morning when I made my way to Starbucks.

I'm so proud of myself this morning.  Last night we had a room next to a very noisy family.  They were only quiet from about 2 to 6 a.m.  Seriously, they must have slammed their door a hundred times and they had very loud children whom they allowed to run up and down the halls.  The old fat girl I used to be would have sent my husband to take care of it or suffered in silence.  The new confident me walked right down to the front desk this morning.  I politely inquired whether they had checked out or not.  When told that they would be here until Saturday, I asked that we be moved to another room.  The front desk clerk said she didn't know if she could do that, I sent her to speak with the manager and explained to her that we are Hilton Honors members who stay in this hotel at least a couple of times a month.  She said she was busy and would have to check on it and get back to me.  I just looked at here and told her that I would wait.  In a few minutes she came back, gave me new room keys and told me that she would send a bell man to help me move to my new room.  I love the self confidence I have now.  Hooray for WLS!

Go out and make it a great day ... make good choices ... take your vitamins.
