Friend having RNY tomorrow

Hi all,
I have a friend who is having the RNY tomorrow morning at 8 am.  She is my age and she is scared to death.  She has many health problems and I am asking for prayers for her.  Her name is Connie, but her username is kendalia.  She is listed in the upcoming surgeries. 
She called me a while ago to let me know that her and her family were headed for Austin to stay in a motel while she is in the hospital.  They live 90 miles away one way, in Evant. 
Please keep her in your prayers.

Sending prayers up for Connie.  Are you going to hear from her family when she's out of surgery?  If so, please let us know.

I will be in touch with her husband as he will have her phone with him.  As soon as I hear how she is doing I will post to let everyone know.  I talked to her this evening and she is scared out of her mind, Understandable.  I told her she has a lot of people praying for her and she would do just fine.

JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, I TALKED WITH CONNIE'S HUSBAND AND CONNIE MADE IT THROUGH HER SURGERY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.  SHE IS STILL IN RECOVERY BUT IS DOING WELL.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HER AND HER FAMILY.

I am sorry your friend is so scared and I hope everything goes well for her tomorrow.  I had my "freak out" about 5 days before then got over it.  By the time my surgery rolled around I was more excited than scared.  Although I must have been more nervous than I thought, because I tripped over the threshhold at Methodist Hospital and did a face plant right on the concrete.  My first thought was "dammit, don't screw up your surgery by getting yourself hurt!"  My soft duffle bag broke my fall so all I had were scratched hands.  LOL

I'll be looking for an update on your friend - I am sure she will be fine.

I had forgotten your "klutzo" moment -- Don't you look back on that day and think " Whaaaaaaaat?" I know I do.  I just can't believe that it's been a year!  YIKES!!!!

Hey Lady!  I'm back and hanging after my week and a half from hell.......The traveling thing just about killed me!

I'm so glad Connie's surgery wend well and she has you.  The first couple of weeks post op are the craziest.  Will keep Connie in my thoughts and prayers.
