Hey Faith...in your siggy line it talks about a Mardi Grais meet n greet...are you planning that?  Just read it to hubby and he says "We're in".  He's been wanting to take me to N.O. for awhile.  I've never been.  Went to Shreveport once.

Will you post about this?  Where's the best place to stay?  Hubby says Clarion on Canal???

Good morning.  Seems like I keep staying up later, then still wake up by 6:30 or so every day.  A darn dog jumping on the side of the bed in the mornings doesn't help that matter!

Off to SS and church a little later.  We may eat out for lunch...haven't decided for sure.  This afternoon I will finish up my Aggie handbag I'm making...I'm almost done with it.  After that I need to hunt down my grout scraping out tools I bought last year so Ben and I can work on the kitchen counter tomorrow.  We have to scrape out the grout from the tiles and then re-grout, then clean and re-paint the kitchen cabinets.  That will be my big home project for the summer.  It seems small in comparison to scraping ceilings and re-texturing and painting walls last summer, plus I'll have Ben to do 1/2 the work!

Karla I broke my dog of waking me up by making him sleep in the teen's (who sleeps in a loft bed and is hard to wake up) room for a while - now he is so happy when he gets to sleep in my room he lets me sleep - now if my bladder and 2 footed children could learn that skill - hmmmm

I was going to type that I may bring it to the BBQ, but I forgot you won't be there!  You'll have to give me your address when you get moved and I'll make copies of the patterns and send them to you.  I finished my bag this morning and idiotically put the darn handles on from one side to the other instead of one handle on the rt and left of each side!  The directions aren't too good and I should have looked at the pic.  Now I cut off the handles and will have to improvise, but I don't think anyone will really know the difference.  I'll take a pic when I get done.  I'm making a green/off white one from a different pattern for a friend's birthday.  I'm using 3 different fabrics on it.  She requested green so I had to wait until I got the fabric for it and had time.  Her bd was 3 months ago!

Good Morning Train Riders!!

We sat in the garage and watched the fireworks last night.  I've done had my 2 cups of coffee this morning. I need to wrap up the last chapters of my defensive driving stuff! Funny you can sit in front of the computers looking at OH and "dumb" stuff, but when it comes to HAVING to do something like defensive driving.. BORING!!  Don't know what we've got planned for today but I am sure we will find something to do in this cool 100 degree weather!

Good Morning Danni and the rest of my TMB Family,

How nice to see your smiling face this morning Danni.  Did the kids get you up early?  We had a nice 4th.  Spent a quiet morning, then took Eric to the movies and saw the new Ice Age movie, it was really cute and I would recommend it to anyone with kids.  Then we came home, and Mark and Eric went to the fireworks and came home about 1/2 hour later as it was raining and there were thunder storms on the way.  Today we are heading to church, and then to Walmart to get the rest of the stuff Eric needs for camp.  I still have to mark all his stuff with his name and get it put in his bag.  He has to be at the church tomorrow morning at 10:30 and will be gone till Friday afternoon.  Not sure what I will do all week without him.   I want to say thank you to all *****sponded to my post yesterday about being clean and sober.  You guys are so wonderful and I love each of you.  Not sure what I will do without you when I head to Deleware.  Even though I dont see you all very often I know you are there if I need you!  Well guess I better get a move on.  Prayers for those that are in need this morning.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

nope the first of the kids just woke up - Rach and she wants to snuggle for a while longer - I woke up about 6 thought of something I needed Tim to have when we got there - eye bolts to install the baby gates top and bottom of the stairs - texted him, and about 20 mins latter he called "since you were up" I was so not up - still laying in bed dozzing but that is ok - it is nice to talk to him with out having kids demanding attention

you will enjoy that week and you will stay on the Tx board when you got to De just like susan did in VA, Dana in La and me in AK and Ga - with cell phones, internet and texting you are not far away:)

Good morning, the countdown is ON...6 days til the BBQ.  I'm getting so excited but still not very motivated.  So far, I haven't done a thing to get my house ready. 

I got up this morning and spread 6 more bags of mulch around my front flower beds in the misty rain.  Then I decided to take a break and have a protein drink for breakfast, now I'm on the puter...jeesh I started off SO motivated and it just fizzled!!  Dang computer...

Had a super time at the casino yesterday.  I wanted to stay a LOT longer but Clay ran out of money in 4 hours.  I only spent $4 of my $200, but since we was broke, we just left.  I'm so cheap, I play the penny machines.  I won $37 on an 18 CENT bet.  How's that for a return on your money?  I know I'l never get rich but at least i don't lose a lot either.

Well I'm off to get something done...will check back at the next break time.
