Good morning...Happy 4th of July!

Ben and I are going to a fish fry at a relative on my stepdad's side of the family today at lunch...my sister doesn't have her kids so she's taking off to Katy to stay at my brothers.   I made a layered salad and Ben made a homemade blueberry pie to take.  I plan on sewing this morning before going on my Aggie purse I'm making.  I cut it out last night.

Prayers to Que, Liz, Faith T, and Debbi T to heal from illness and surgery as well as Bryan from his WLS.

Happy 4th Liz & TMB!

I am going to the outside the city limits of Lake Charles today so we can pop fireworks at my sister's house and of course be with family.  We are supposed to go see Ice Age 3 as well.  I will have to decide if I want to sit for that long so I may skip out on this.  Have a safe and fun filled 4th of July!

Good Morning, TMB and Happy 4th!!

Not much on the agenda today - I'll go watch the fireworks display on the seawall tonite - already fed the plants and had breakfast.  Need to wash and detail the car today - I like to do that myself every once in a while just to make sure it's done right.....yeah, the OCD kicks in sometimes.

Thanks for making me cry this today.  I love this song and everytime I hear it, I cry and think about what the servicemen and women did for us.  I also think about my father and grandfather and the fact that I might night be here today if my dad wouldn't have come home unlike so many other people.

Happy 4th to my fellow Texans and Americans!

It should be a quiet day around here.  Most of our friends are out of town and our kids are visiting their in-laws in Dana's neck of the woods. 

I'm going to crack the whip and make DH clean out at least one drawer in the file cabinet today.  I'm on a mission to de-clutter and I'm to the point where I need him to help.  He's kind of a pack rat so I'll have to drag him kicking and screaming to do it.

Later I'm going in search of a sno-cone stand with SF syrup.  That sounds so good to me.  I need to run to the grocery store and pick up a couple of steaks for dinner.  I think we can stand the backyard heat long enough to grill 2 steaks. 

We saw Public Enemy yesterday.  It's a good movie.  I recommend it.  Johnny Depp is very good.

I think our fireworks will be on TV tonight.  We'll watch Neal Diamond and the Boston Pops.  Some day I'm going to Boston for the 4th.  It's one of my lifetime goals.

Nothing planned today.Had a blast last night! Started with dinner, I finally met Jennifer for the first time. Your even more beautiful in person! Than off to Pete's Piano Bar.I got home at 2:30. My goodness haven't stayed out that late in a very long time.We had such a good time!  I think that's where I want to go for my 50th birthday.Well better hop in the shower. Rick wants to go to Wally world this morning before it gets too hot.Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th!

Good morning!!!  We are all moving a little slower this morning!!  Brother and family came out last night so the kids swam, ate pizza, and watched fireworks down in Cavecreek last night.  We had the perfect view last night from the pool!!!  Now that's the way to watch fireworks!

Today we will head in to my brothers this afternoon as SIL and I are taking the kids swimming and then it will back to their house for a cookout and fireworks.   My niece spent the night with us last night so the kids are already wanting to jump in the pool!!!!
