Yipppppeeeee!!!!! I have lost 50 lbs since I started this journey in February.  I have lost 18 lbs since my day of surgery June 9th.  I am so excited and stoked over the weight I am losing.
I have already lost 2 pant sizes since day of surgery.  My bras and shirts are getting sooooooo big.  I am so happy today.
Although I have had some problems since surgery, it was and is still worth it all.  I am still in the healing process, and I know when I get to start exercising more, I will lose weight faster.

Thanks to all who gave me words of encouragement and all the prayers also.

Deborah - it just keeps getting better and better !!!!

My biggest thrill was going into my closet and wondering what would fit that day - not because everything was too tight like it was in pre-op - but because my jeans were getting baggy in the butt (my largest feature LOL) and my shirts were starting to hang off my shoulders.  I am still amazed at how much smaller my shoulders are - I didn't realize I was carrying so much fat there because the rest of me was so big.

I have gone from a skin-tight size 22W to a comfortable 10 and I still don't recognize myself when I catch my reflection.  I saved one pair of my 22's as a reminder and pulled them on the other day w/o unzipping them and they looked hilarious!

You are doing GREAT and I am glad you are getting healed up.  Keep pushing your protein as it will help with the healing.

The day I went in for surgery I was wearing 24W, but now I can get into my 20W and they are loose.  I was wearing 3X tops and I can wear 2X and they hang, but I still don't like anything tight, because I don't want to show my rolls....LOL.  I have pants down to size 16 in my closet, then I will have to go buy clothes.  But, all my shirts are 2, 3X, so I will have to buy new shirts sooner.  I am going today to buy a new bra.  My old ones are way toooooo big now.  Yahhhh!!!
I can't wait to be small again and buy cute clothes.

You are doing great.
It is great to look back at the numbers and
see what you have lost each month.
I had some issues and lots of Dr. visits which
means I have a good record of my weight loss and
blood pressure.
Wish I had been better at taking measurements like
lots have shared.
Keep up the great work.

Way to go, Deborah!! When I read about you getting a new bra, it reminded me of the time (when I was at work, no less) when my bewb slipped out under the bra band---ooops! I knew then it was time to go shopping!

Don't spend too much on clothes now, the ones you buy won't fit for long!!

Deborah,

Congrats to you!  50 pounds is amazing.  It's so funny how we get excited over little things like our bras being too big.  I laugh all the time because my underwear are so big on me!  I love it!

Keep up the good work!

Take care,
