July Journey Friday
I didn't stick as strictly to my plan or "map" yesterday as I should have. I had a few too many spicy crackers, but other than that did fine. I HAVE to start exercising!
Plan for today:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
leftover meatloaf for lunch
Chicken taco for dinner
What's your plan for today?

Thanks for the well wishes. I stuck to my plan yesterday and even being bloated with fluids from yesterday's surgery I am down another pound. I can not exercise for at least 5 days. My plan for today is:
B-Coffee
L-Bacon/Eggs (this is questionable)
D-Salad with bacon crumbles
Lots of water
Now tomorrow's plan especially the afternoon/evening is going to be a different story.
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
So far so good...I'm down 2 lbs and so I'm back in the middle of my range. Yesterday I started with a ham/cheese omelet, had spaghetti for lunch, dinner was steak, 4 bites of roasted new potatoes and one ear of corn. Snack was SF Strawberry shortcake.
I have NO plans for today, so I guess I better make some huh?

At GOAL and BMI is healthy!!
Had a personal best on the bike this morning -- Woo hoo! Rode 7.8 miles in 30 minutes and burned 199 calories. By my flabby/lazy standards for exercise, this was EPIC. I find that the better I do, the more effort I want to expend. My natural competitiveness kicks in. It seems to be irrelevant that the one I'm competing with is me.
Plan for today:
B-fast = protein shake
Lunch = Greek yogurt with sliced plums
Dinner = blackeyed peas at my mom's house, a helping of angst, and God knows what else. Dinner at Mom's is not a predictable phenomenon in any sense of the word.
