Antibiotics must have finally kicked in! Feeling better, slept last night and woke up rested!! Working all weekend but that gives me next wekend off!!
Close at work tonight then meeting HS friend after! We haven't seen eaach other in over 25yrs!
I personally don't mess with fireworks! Burned my hand badly when I was young with one!! But I do love to watch them.
Getting ready for work and praying it will be busier today! I think everyone is on vaca!!

Good Morning all!!!

I am alive and almost well.  Still get short of breath and tire easily but feel better.  What a relief...

Looking forward to today with absolutely nothing to do unless I want too!!  Such a relief.  Work has been good but boring.  I have got to find a way to make those days pass faster.  We are overstaffed because we have a trainee in and it has spread the work too thin.  He is ready to go out on his own, but that just means they will give us another one to break in.  We have become the training office since we follow all the standard procedures on a daily basis.  Works well that way and keeps the auditors looking at others not us.  LOL

FYI Tom is lurking.  A LOT.  Says he is not ready to post yet, but it won't be long.  He has started putting out a good morning email to family, so we know he is up and moving, spoils Adam something awful and even keeps up with Facebook.  Buying him his own laptop may have been a mistake...

He saw a pic of Barron this morning and almost cried.  He is really missing the "Big Dogs."  So, Liz, get the butt in gear and get here.  Nuff said.

if i felt like it, i would pack us all in the car and bring them up and leave them for a few weeks lol. The big dogs have been wonderful while i was sick but they are starting to get restless now. Its SOOOO HOT here, they cant go out in the daylight (other than really quick trips to potty)  since im usually up at 3am ish, they will go out to play in the yard then. Last nite i wasnt up (for once)  so they were bouncin off the walls. I let them out to potty, they played about 1 min then were too hot. Bella's fur was burning when she came in. She is now lounging on my love seat. Wonder where she got that from lol.

Sitting here at home on medical leave upgrading a server at work while everyone else has a holiday today hmm what is wrong with that sentence. Mr Scale was nice to me this morning though still need to have breakfest (am sipping water atm though). Made Chris some Eggo this morning which for him I'm sure was a treat. Hoping to be done with this server shortly so I can finish watching my July 4th movies (Still have Independance Day, The Patriot and National Treasure to watch but have watched 1776 which Ms Train Conducter does not like so she will not be bored with it). Can't wait to see everyone at breakfest tomorrow.

Going to hop on and than go take a nap. Layla woke up at 3am this morning. I think she is cutting more back teethe. I took her home to her mommie this morning at 9am. Going to see if they can handle it thru the weekend. Decided just to do alot of nothing this weekend. Too hot to get out and about. Can't wait to see everyone tonight and have some adult conversation! Speedy recovery for Faith and Debbi, remember to take it slow and easy. Well going to go rest, I'm exhausted, want to be ready for tonight!

Good Morning, TMB!!!  I hate to even say it but I just got up about 20 minutes ago......no issues here with sleep!  I did get a "bladder wake up call" at 5am but went right back to sleep.

I am getting REALLY getting excited about the BBQ next weekend.  Headed out to Mom's in little bit then back to the island for the rest of the weekend.

Good morning everyone!!!  Most everyone here is still in bed... except for Cam and I.  Yesterday we took all kids to a movie.  My SIL and her neighbor got a movie pass...10 movies for $5 every Thursday during the summer.  Her neighbor is out of town this week so she gave us her tickets... cute movie but not anything I would have paid to see.  But it was good to get the kids out of the house for awhile.  We all went out to eat lunch and then the kids played for awhile before we headed back out to dad's.  

A resort behind dad's house had a fireworks display last night but the best one will be tonight!!!  We can sit out by the pool and watch the fireworks in Cavecreek... couldn't pay for better seats!!!!  My brother and his family are coming out tonight and then we will go into their house tomorrow for the 4th.  My SIL and I filled up the calendar for the next few weeks so we will be busy!

Good morning fellow Texans!  Happy Independence Day EVE!

Had a great night's sleep last night and feeling good this morning.  BIL just called and invited us to join them for a movie marathon this afternoon.  We'll see The Taking of Pelham 123 and Public Enemy.  It's too hot to do anything outside and at least this will get us out of the house.  Other than that, no big weekend plans. 

If any of you haven't tried Terry's recipe for Mexican Meat Loaf, I highly recommend it.  My husband loved it.  I served it with guacamole and Spanish rice.  It was yummy. 

BTW, Terry, great job on the music today.  I love that song.
