Anita.....The brand that I like the most comes from Kohls...it is called Control It !!! Trust me....it does really control and hold you in. It is pretty reasonable also and it is usually on sale. You might want to run by Kohls and try some on before you go out and purchase any other brand. I have several different styles I wear.....high waisted panty girdle.....and a cami that comes down longer. They are very comfortable and not binding or at least I don't think so. Anyway they really hold you in well. I wear about 5 different brands of shapewear and Spanx is my "least favorite" !!! LOL Good luck to you !!!

Anita....Kohls will let you bring the dress in with you to try on with the garmet...also they will take returns on the shapewear. I have returned some before due to picking up the wrong size. Good Luck !!!

Anita....I hear you honey !!! LOL Even after a LBL I STILL have enough skin UGH !!! That is why I wear shapewear. My tummy will NEVER be flat !!! Doc said it has to do with "age" ( Imagine that LOL ) . My boobs are not totally deflated...but deflated enough. They need to make body armor for us so it will hold in all the skin spillage over our bras !!! LOL But I TOO LOVE MY BYPASS !!!!

assets at target and flexies at kohls are all made by the spankx lady but much cheaper. However, i agree with Gina, im way more partial to the cupid brand at Wal mart. I have lots of excess skin (214lb loss = lots of skin) and i have found the cupid ones hold me in much better and no jiggle or seams and more comfy.
just my .02 cents :)

Have never tried Cupid-will have to look. My flexies are all worn out from wearing them for 2 plus years and when I went to Kohls to replace they didn't have the body suit that I like anymore.

I have a pair of Assets from Target that I like. I haven't tried anything else to compare it to, though. I don't wear them every day - just to exercise.

Do ya'll find any of those garments hot?!?! In our heat and humidity I find it hard to wear regular loose clothing some days, I can't imagine wearing a stretchy skin all day! Do they breath at all? I'm getting hot and sweaty just thinking about it!!!

Yes they are hot. I do get sweaty-but I have a
huge hernia(my daughter calls it my baby-about
7months)-so hot or not I wear them under my
slacks I wear to work. The worst part is
shimmying back into to it when you are sweaty.
There have been times-I thought-i would never
get it back on after a rest-room break.
