PLEASE PRAY FOR BELL HELICOPTER FAMILIES ON STRIKE !!!

Evening everyone,

I got home from Support Group a little while ago and my hubby said that he heard that the negoataions between Bell Helicopter and it's union today did NOT go well. I know that there are at least 3 of us on the TMB that are affected by this strike....I am for one. Please pray that Bell Helicopter will come to their senses and at least offer it's employees on strike the same contract as last time. I heard that this contract was worse than the one they offered almost 3 weeks ago. Thanks so much for the prayers. I do not work so this is really affecting us...but will hugely if it continues on much longer. Thanks again for the prayers.

Thanks so much Meggie. I am hanging on for dear life !!! LOL I know that this is affecting Gaye and Danise also. Hubby is driving me NUTS !!! HE said that they actually took things "away" from the other contract that the had offered them 3 weeks ago. UGH That is so stressful. I totally apprecaite the prayers....if the strike keeps up....he may just have to cross the picket line !!!

Karla....he is not planning on crossing the picket line yet. Although our money will be gone soon if he doesn't go back to work soon. UGH !!! It isn't worth all the lost wages IMHO for this strike. I know that the Co. can't hold out forever because they are "loosing money everyday" by not getting out those much needed parts for the helicopters. They better give the guys what they are asking soon or they may be in jepordy of loosing government contracts !!!

Hi Vivian....I guess we'll find out for sure this weekend. My husband just keeps telling me not to listen to the rumors, but it's hard not to be concerned. (Of course, he offers that advice, but spends a lot of time on the phone with coworkers belly-aching over the posibilities!) I'm saying my prayers for a swift and fair outcome ~ Take care

Danise.....on the UAW website this AM there is a update that says that the co is playing hardball with the union. They aren't offering us anything at all. UGH !!! Sounds like if they don't come around by the weekend our husbands may be on strike a little longer. Mine is ready to go back to work...but not ANYWHERE near as ready as I am for him to go back. LOL Oh well....as George said...a person has to do what they have to do. We do need a fair outcome !!! Our guys work there butts off everyday of Bell and they should appreciate what their employees do for the co.
