OT maybe tired
OK I also agree it's probably your body trying to force some rest so you can recover. Please please listen to your body and rest as much as you can. It's going to take time to get your energy back unfortunately. The B-12 shot is also a good idea, in fact I need to remember to give myself one tonight too. Tell you what, I'll text you from my recliner tomorrow to your recliner.
Don't push yourself too hard, and never compare yourself with others. You'll get everything done that needs to be, and everything else can wait!
Hugs!

Home is where the army allows me to live with my husband
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail

Hey toots~ I can't sleep right now, (3:00am) so I thought I would do a late post on this~
When I had pneumonia earlier this year, it kicked my A$$...It really took me 10 straight days in bed and another month to really recover....please get your rest, and do not pu****that's an order...((HUGS))
Things to consider:
You would of course need to call your doctor to have test ran...
Repeat Chest X-ray to make sure the pneumonia is clearing up
Test your b-12 levels, and Iron levels
Test for Epstien-Barr Syndrome/Mono
And this question totally off the sickness and on to sleep...have you had your thyroid tested lately? Trouble sleeping is a huge sign of thyroid problems, as well as some of your lack of energy...just thoughts at 3:00am
love you girlie, and want you BETTER....
OXO

hey there,
Ok had i known you were up at 3am, i woulda logged on lol. did your lunesta not work last nite??
thanks for chiming in on this... I pretty much did the 10 days thing.. i did mine mostly on the sofa instead of bed (coz it was a shorter walk to the back door when the dogs had to go potty lol) and its NOT been a month.. more like uhh a week since the end of the 10 days? lol. Im still checking in with the doc and i just returned my breathing machine this past friday. So hasnt even been a week then. oh crap. lol.
I did do the repeat chest xray, and b-12 and iron. Havent done the epstein barr/mono nor have i had a recent thyroid test. thanks for chiming in on those. I will definately put a call in to the doc when they open later today.
On the thyroid note, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, blah blah, ALL were on thyroid meds from the time they were young. However, mine was tested numerous times before i had WLS as i had the classic textbook symptoms yet it always came back 'within range'. My gyn would shake his head every time sayin 'i KNOW you have a thyroid issue.'. Now, of course they have changed the guidelines and since im more knowledgable (thanks to Vanessa and Dana!), im thinking while i may have fallen into the guidelines before, they may not have been ok FOR ME!.
Ok didnt mean to get off on that rant! lol. thanks for the thoughts.. looks like i need to put a call into the doc and be a lil more patient lol.
Love ya !
