Pre-op Liquids Start Today...Yummy!

Just two weeks until surgery!  Can't believe it's happening.  Today I start the official 2 week pre-op liquid diet given to me by my surgeon, but I've already been doing liquids for about 2 months.  So really nothing new, but the countdown is on now!

Hey Alanna - you will be having surgery on my ONE YEAR SURGIVERSARY !!!!  And with the same surgeon.

One year ago I was starting my 2-week liquid diet - actually I started a few days early on Sunday so I wouldn't be so cranky at work LOL.  But since you have been on liquids you are over the horrible headaches.

Anyway, congrats on your upcoming surgery - you are in GREAT hands.  I tell ya - the year flew by - can't believe it has been a year for me already.  And I *know* you can't wait to be where I am at - a year out and feeling fantastic !!!!

Nope, I have not heard anything. Still on pins and needles. Thanks for keeping me in your prayer.

Today was my 3rd day of liquids so I'm right there with you, Alanna.   Yesterday, I had a terrible headache but today was much better.  I go for my pre-op appointment tomorrow.

Hang in there! You can do this... it also makes preop bowel prep much easier!!
