Looking forward to the rest of the week. Friday and Saturday I get to sleep in. But will get up a little earlier than I normally would. Gonna start moving my new office furniture in out of the garage.

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness. Please thank God for these men and women every day. In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Those who are not yet unemployed, but layoffs are looming
Pray for those employed by Bell Helicopter, that are on strike. Pray for a resolution to the strike.
Anne (Lalocaweta) - as she continues her fight. Also for her spouse as the company he works for is closing it's doors.
Dana - requests prayer for her sister, Renee. She had tumor on her jaw removed. Now needs jaw reconstruction on 7/23 - (10 hour surgery scheduled).
Debra - has returned to work.
George - prayers for Oleta J., Brad's MIL. She is in JPS with pneumonia and COPD among other health issues. Update: She is being tested for lung cancer on 7/1. Also pray for Brad's wife, also Oleta. Give her strength at this time.
Janet (1divaatheart) - her husband's kidney will be removed on 7/16, followed by lots of followup.
Karen (Misty750342002) - A friend of Karen's from work (who is like a son to her), Dustin Murphy, is 24 years old and has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease.
Meggie - friend Nancy is in assisted living home and is on her last days. Pray for Meggie's family also as they try to fight through this.
Ramon - has strayed after 15 years of sobriety. He is now sober for 32 days, but very tempted. Pray for him to make the right decisions.
SandiB - prayers for her as she has some personal concerns right now.
Vicki V. - husband Patrick has Ataxia and Neuropathy of the left side. Which basically means he has virtually no feeling in his left leg and foot. Experiencing fatigue.
Vanessa (Butterfly Reborn) - requests prayer for her family. There were no specifics, but I am sure the Lord knows.
Below are two of God's children that definitely need our prayers. These are two specific cases, we know there are others out there. Remember them too.
Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2. She has improved, but still needs our prayers. Pray for this brave little girl.

I had a very productive day. I was up before 7 (no alarm), found 5 jobs to apply for, dealt with the drywall guy, cleaned out the downstairs guest room closet and the closet under the stairs, packed 5 boxes, added to the Goodwill and 1/2 Price Books piles, did 3 loads of laundry, cooked dinner, cleaned up the kitchen and started putting together stuff that needs to make the trip to Dallas with us this weekend. I'm a little stir crazy right now. I haven't been outside at all today...
Michael's migrating from his 3 year old work laptop to the new one he got from the company today. I'm wishing he'd get that done so we could go somewhere...Sonic or a SF sno-cone would be fine. I just need to get out of the house.
I'll probably be around until midnight tonight. Prayers for all who need them.

This is going on the third week of my husband being on strike for his job ( no pay as of yet ) so please pray that the company offers them a contract that is vote worthy this coming sunday July 5th so that he can go back to work. Danise and Gaye also have husband's that work for Bell and they are also on strike. We need these guys back to work and I need my hubby out of my hair LOL !!!

All three girls had eye doctor appts Tuesday. Sarah's vision is great, 20/20 in one eye and 20/30 in the other. She only has to wear her glasses for the astigmatism that she has. Doc said probably just another year is all she will need and then unless she has power issues, no glasses. He said she should wear them at school but can leave them off for tennis and soccer as she hates having them on while she's running around and she's sweating and all. Easy enough! Heather's eyes didn't change either. They are bad, but didn't get any worse. V's, however, got much worse. She was rather "squinty" the past 3-4 months so I pretty much knew that would be the case. She has gotten taller so the doc explained that when a kid grows in height, it's very common for the eyes to get worse because the muscles elongate and change from where they were before. Makes sense. My eyes got worse from about the beginning of Jr. High through the end of high school. So, she went from like -.75 to -1.75 in one eye and from -1.00 to -2.00 in the other. They did give her one trial set of contacts in the new strength to use before filling the prescription and her comment was, "oh, WOW, that's REALLY clear"!!! I go see another doc within the clinic in the middle of the month as my doc is out on vacation. I am having THE worst time seeing close up anymore so I know I'll probably be getting progressives but I don't care. I hate having to pull my glasses up to read something close all the time!
We don't have any early morning stuff going on so we'll get to sleep in! YIPPEE!!!!!!
